A Blackpool pal of mine reckoned Pete Wild was nailed on for the job all that was required was the signing of contracts and then Steve Bruce was a last minute call. Probably a load of rubbish but if it isn’t that would probably explain why Adam Temple resigned. He thought he was Blackpool bound.
