I'm over the disappointment of Harrogate now and think if we play three of our new signings, and Campbell is fit, we will have a much stronger team this Saturday.
Duru in a back four with Vassell, Canavan and Jackson..
Campbell back with Spence and Gotts in midfield.
The addition I'm really excited about is Fletcher playing off a front two of Pressley and Acquah.
Fletcher has the physical presence, an eye for a goal and will link the midfield and attack.

Nice on paper but Newby remains our top assist and theres no way he’s leaving him and Mahoney out from a starting 11 and side is not balanced if he only goes with one of them. If he goes with Fletcher from the off then i think it will be at the expense of one of Spence/Campbell/Gotts, likely Campbell if he’s not yet fully match fit. Aquah and Pressley up front should be giving defences headaches but not sure how he fits them both in from the off, with Newby / Mahoney and Fletcher

End product and decision making is still off dont get me wrong but at least he gets at a man and asks questions of the opposition which I've not seen Mahoney even threaten. With two very big lads in the middle to aim at I think there's worse options

Correct it wouldn't work. If Mahoney gets dropped it may be back to Worral or Kouyate. Not sure Tiensa on that side, he’s a left sided player.

Would long balls be a bad thing atm? To me we've been lacking any creativity for months. We have two big lads that are capable of bullying opositons and holding it up. What we are doing now simply isn't working. Points are more important than performance in my opinion for the next few weeks. I'd play spence over Gotts in a deeper role. All opinions I suppose but whatever happens something needs changing
