There is quite a few Carlisle exiles living in and around Furness who still follow there home city side. Always see a few there sat with Barrow supporters when Carlisle have been in town

Quite understandable, there's hundreds of Barrovians who travel from Furness every week to watch bigger clubs.

Agree with that people travel hundreds of miles to support Clubs from Scotland to Chelsea and many in-between but would never consider supporting the local team, we have around 3,000 home fans but needs to increase for the Club to move forward, Carlisle would still get 5/6000 home fans even if relegated to the National League.

The weather will have a big say on how many from Barrow attend. If we get a good night I would hope for an attendance at around the 4600 mark if it's a bad night it will be a few hundred less.. If its a choice between
a windy wet dark cold night or watching it in sky tv the floaters will choose the latter imo.

As for Sky,it,s a bad deal when they can switch games with no compensation for the home club for loss of income in breach of the original contract which said plenty of notice would be given
I for one refuse to have Sky after Rupert Murdoch demonised the Liverpool supporters after the Hillsborough disaster printing lies in the Sun Newspaper .
If you dance with the devil you deserve everything you get.That deal will eventually lead tto.the elimination of a lot of a lot of EFL clubs due to a loss of income.

Get yourself a dodgy stick then you can stick two fingers up to Skys high prices and still watch the games

If Carlisle win today and that is an "if" they will be right up for it on Thursday esp if they see our performance today !
Need to get behind the lads Thursday and get further away from the bottom 2 !
