This is it. I think the same when we should be saying Barrow will be right at it from the 1st minute, but do we have enough players who can battle? Far too many letting players glide past them and not stop build up. See third goal today.
That's my worry I'd say we have about 6 player's who won't be overwhelmed by the occasion, too many lightweights but it's down to the gods and lady luck now !🙏

Oh, come on. Look at the league table. Carlisle have no more players capable of being up and at 'em than we have!
Don't let the old man in.

Crewe fans on their forum agree that the incident which gave them the penalty was well outside the box.

That was awful, to defensive, can’t keep the ball, no pace anywhere. We have some players who need putting out to pasture. Not been impressed with Mr Whing either, non league manager playing non league football.

Listening to an 'oldies' pogramme on the radio this evening whilst brooding over our latest defeat, when this came on:

Should perhaps play it in the dressing room before Thuirsday's game.

Whings interview was very interesting saying he needs to pick a team v Carlisle with players he can trust maybe some unrest in the dressing room, he also said out of contract players should still try, thankfully most won't be here next season, Andy has got a big job on his hands.

I think Barrow should survive this season as Carlisle, Morecambe, Tranmere, Accrington and Harrogate, are all doing at least as badly. Plus the home form since AW arrived has been decent.
However, next season is a different proposition. AW needs to get his team in place and keep them motivated. From what I can gather there was a lack of fight today, which is unacceptable.

I think we will just about survive but it’s been a poor season with no progression on the pitch at all. Whing has got his work cut out and he’s probably got a significant amount of squad rebuilding in summer. Front to back.

Having being in the unfortunate position of witnessing both the Cheltenham and Crewe games I cannot wait till the season ends and the clear out begins. We seem to be paralysed when we come out for the second half and have a fear of shooting I would take a draw now with Carlisle, we are lucky that there are a few teams worse than us this season and we will survive through the points we made at the start.

I don't think anyone would disagree but we've still got a job to do and must keep backing them. It’s notable on the pitch there are few natural leaders and no big talkers. When we concede it’s usually Farman who shows some passion, whilst others walk away.

Had the same conversation this am at work.. ideally imo we need a midfield general who plays with passion and energy but also has the balls to be at the players who look like they are trotting about on a Sunday afternoon!

We are too nice all over the pitch! Ok if your winning home.n away but when your not, you have to be nasty, snappy and hard.. don't agree with captain being a keeper and probably a defender isn't the best either.. need someone who can get all over the pitch and bark the orders

Don't agree, Andy is doing his best, with someone else's players.

He said he is having to play the team to thier ability not his way or style. He needs chance to get through this season and then bring in his own players.

Spot on. You shouldn’t judge him at this stage. He’s not a miracle worker - which you have to be with this shower.
