Fleetwood looked a good team yesterday. Well organised and played some decent football. Okay; I know we went down to 10 men but even so we looked the complete opposite. Pete Wild is obviously doing a good job for the Cod Army.

I remember Pete Wild coming in for some flack on here towards the end of his time and on one of the threads it was asked if forum members thought he should stay or go? I stated with regard to promotion I didn't think he was up to it.

The BOD recently stated that they don't have the finances to pay the wages of top Div 2 players.
Bearing that in mind - which manager would you choose, if you were given the choice - to keep us in Div 2?

Then I don't think they will have the money to pay off yet another manager, so as you say a hypothetical question which I cannot see any point to.

Let's support Whing and make sure we avoid the drop.

Wild and it’s not even close what he will achieve in the game compared to Whing.

Like Whing as a person seems to care and very passionate but sadly think by christmas he will be gone.

It will cost us in the long run ,talks a good job.
No matter how well meaning the Directors are they are a little naive.

So you want to get rid of the guy who has been more than instrumental in establishing us as a league two club. The guy who brought in Pete Wild. The guy who negotiated with FC United and has helped build a training ground in a location that has been more than instrumental in helping us recruit players that have allowed us to compete in league 2. The likes of Campbell, Spence and others including Aquah who we made money on Ben Whitfield who on more than one occasion has mentioned that after speaking to Woodsy he wanted to come back
Yes he has not got everything right but by god we would be in a far worse position both on the field had we not recruited him when we did
Those calling for his head be very very careful what you wish for and oh I don’t see anyone coming forward with a name of somebody to take over his role and take over the current responsibilities he has

Completely unnecessary discussion.

There's the obvious criticisms of tactics and I'd like to see more positivity on the pitch (FWIW it was Wild's lack of ambition that cost us a playoff run two seasons in a row) but we must have one of the most over reactive fanbases in the world, every defeat is a disaster for some reason from which we need to rip it all up and start again.

The time for these sorts of threads are when we are in the depths of January on a miserable run with no signs of turning it around, like last season. We are just into September, there's teams in the league that only picked up their first point at the weekend.

Can,t understand people on here.We have the spine of the team missing through injury.Give Whing a chance.People on here are very fickle.We are not and never will be a club with plenty of cash unless we get a new investor with plenty of it or the club manages to redevelop the popular side and maybe build flats for rent or maybe a hotel,so there is a regular income coming into the club.
If and when Andy Whing gets his full team back and then we don,t show an improvement in our results that is the time to act.
We can only go into the market for players with the budget that is available unless people want the club to go bankrupt.Our tactic has always been to find good players in lower leagues improve them and hopefully create a successful team,something that is getting harder and harder when you look at some of the salaries that even in lower leagues players are demanding.Before long there will be a reality check where a lot of clubs who have overspent will go out of business.
It might be tough at the moment but we have to hold our nerve.There is the basis of a team that should with more time together come good.
Just give the manager time to turn it around he will do it.
