At least a bit more presence in there now with Williams and Fletcher, although we lose Canavan again for a long stretch now.

Have to start better and be more aggressive. If there’s no reaction from Tuesday then heads and confidence will be even lower. Even at this stage it’s one we cannot afford to lose.

Crowd will quickly turn if we don't perform today, I pray we put in a good show as we've been [SwearFilter] poor at home

A deliberate change of approach: win the toss and elect to play towards Steelworks end, HS end in 2nd half.

Stronger looking midfield as long as Booty stays on the bench.
AW keeps saying we have to be better in both boxes. That is a direct result of having a sub standard midfield.
A strong midfield is the first line of defence and the springboard for transition into attack.it is also key to pressing when out of possession.
Sort that, you sort the issues in both boxes.
Booty is slow,he can't tackle or shoot straight and I've only seen him deliver 2 defence splitting passes. He is contracted for 3 years so needs to buck up fast.

Mahoney misses a gilt-edged chance.

I'm not there but we're not losing, so second half we come strong

Hope you're right abc. Wouldn't be surprised if Simpsons Lad tries to nobble us though!

Mahoney should have us 2-0 up right now if he could hit the target....
