It actually should be working its an E.F.L. requirement, there is over 2 weeks till our next league home game they should have it sorted by then.

15 including pre season since he signed.saltcellar wrote: ↑Sat Oct 04, 2025 11:08 pmBooty has only played in 13 games (if you count this weeks Lancashire Cup game.
A few of those appearances have been as a substitute.
We have won 3 of those games.
Only game he never got on the pitch for was the win against Crewe.
So I don't know why your signalling him out?
The point is he doesn't need to play a full game to ruin the teams chances of getting a positive result. As proved in recent lancashire cup game where we were winning until he came on ,and then we lost.
In other games he has started but he's been pulled for being totally in effective. Yes he can pick an odd pass if he is under no pressure but out of possession he is useless. He can't tackle and teams pass around him like he isn't there. He is slow and out of his depth at this level. He is costing us badly and the stats back that up. That's why I'm singling him out.

Haven’t posted on here for a while, infact haven’t read the forum for a while. Nothing changes though does it, the same clueless individuals criticising everything and everyone they can. Absolutely Pathetic!
Re: Barrow v Shrewsbury Town match thread
Is he a winger? I’ve never ever seen the lad play. Any news on Healey either? Or did he go back to Huddersfield.MisterPleasant wrote: ↑Sun Oct 05, 2025 10:20 amWatford loanee Michael Adu-Poku is also back and training with the squad. Booty played a clever pass for the first goal last week to Fletcher but overall has struggled especially with the pace and physical side. Scott Smith not sure where he was yesterday but he’s been a bigger disappointment for me. I’m hoping McCann can get fit soon and will offer more, along with Harper and maybe even Williams.
I’m certainly more positive than 3-4 weeks ago we are short in some areas but I think the Rob Kelly effect has started already. Just being more organised and harder to break down the basics which we were a mile away from early doors. Still a lot of work to do though.
Re: Barrow v Shrewsbury Town match thread
Apart from being out of position and looking like a headless chicken for most of his time on the pitch He lost possession in midfield in front of the dug outs that lead to a shot on goal and gave away a pointless free kick on the edge of the penalty area.Barrowvianbedlam wrote: ↑Sun Oct 05, 2025 11:22 amVery odd criticism of booty a player that did nothing wrong yesterday and does look to get us on the front foot every time he gets the ball..
He offers the defence no cover from midfield and is not fit enough to commit to any kind of meaningful press.
He did have a shot that went over the bar but that's the only thing that he did right but it could be argued he should have scored....same with the chance he missed last week.

Re: Barrow v Shrewsbury Town match thread
Rubbish he did ok yesterday sought to keep the ball moving and had a decent attempt at goal irrespective of your he should have scored were you there yesterday?, have you ever played in conditions like that it's so easy when you're watching but to keep the ball down in that wind is extremely hard !,the pointless free kick you mentioned was when the ball hit him on the arm and everyone around me thought it was harsh to say the least!Rushy wrote: ↑Sun Oct 05, 2025 11:59 amApart from being out of position and looking like a headless chicken for most of his time on the pitch He lost possession in midfield in front of the dug outs that lead to a shot on goal and gave away a pointless free kick on the edge of the penalty area.Barrowvianbedlam wrote: ↑Sun Oct 05, 2025 11:22 am

No mention of Fletcher who hardly put any effort in to close people down, no mention of Shipley whilst a brave player his distribution was erratic to say the least, our midfield consists of 2 players the support they got from the wingbacks and Mahoney and Fletcher was shocking!, Barkhuizen ( not his fault) but as a wingback it's a joke,
The whole team at times looks totally unbalanced at times it's hard to see exactly how or what formation we're playing is Booty brilliant no but he's not on his own, Whing said a LOT of player's were off it ,that was the understatement of the year, yesterday the conditions were horrendous BUT when it's like that you have too work really hard and try to help each other out ( which Shrewsbury did) it looked like we didn't want to lose!

On the plus side if us the supporters struggle to know how or what formation we use it keeps opposition managers in our upcoming games guessing too

He is not in our EFL squad list and was replaced by Josh Gordon - didn’t cost us any money

Perhaps it needs a replacement part that has taken time to source?Cokey wrote: ↑Sat Oct 04, 2025 7:17 pmIt displays the time elapsed. So yes, it makes a huge difference. I doubt many people sit watching the game wondering what the score is!SayitagainSam wrote: ↑Sat Oct 04, 2025 7:12 pm
Made no difference, wouldn't have been used, with a 0 - 0 score.

Set up one of the goals last week with a sublime pass...Rushy wrote: ↑Sun Oct 05, 2025 11:09 am15 including pre season since he signed.saltcellar wrote: ↑Sat Oct 04, 2025 11:08 pm

Re: Barrow v Shrewsbury Town match thread
Just seems an odd agenda against a player stepping up a league and new to his barrow career. He didn’t stand out and more or less then anyone else yesterday in absolute honking conditions for a game of football. Could do a lot worse, saw a certain Harrison Biggins booting it into touch about 4 times yesterday…Rushy wrote: ↑Sun Oct 05, 2025 11:59 amApart from being out of position and looking like a headless chicken for most of his time on the pitch He lost possession in midfield in front of the dug outs that lead to a shot on goal and gave away a pointless free kick on the edge of the penalty area.Barrowvianbedlam wrote: ↑Sun Oct 05, 2025 11:22 am

As always Andy Whings post match interview on RC well worth a listen, he’s very honest about how bad it was overall

Wasn't pretty from what I've seen and anyone expecting a good game of football Saturday are delusional bearing in mind the conditions.
Unbeaten run continues, gotta be happy with that surely?
On we roll to the next.
