Thankfully Grimsby never had a goalkeeper..
Hope you didn't invest too heavily on 4-0 or 5-0 at half time.

Whether their keeper had a mare or not players who aren't our strikers had shots on target for the goals. It was Grimsby playing for a point at the end so credit to the team and also to the manager for early subs.

Baffling inconsistencies by the officials.
Shipley got a second yellow a few weeks ago for kicking the ball away.
This week as we were pressing 15/20 mins from the end we were given a free kick and one of their players kicked the ball away across the pitch.
Resulting in…………no action whatsoever.

Neither did we? Both goals Stanways fault
Eh? Unless he’s 10 foot tall, how else can he save a lob?

Anyone think we suffered without Rob Kelly?

If we won it would be down to RK, if we lost it would be down to loss of RK.. that's way folks think.

Glad he came back, he did what he did but now he's gone.. good point today, a point we probably wouldn't have gained a few months back so positive progress and AW did good to make the change's.

All in all, positive result

Well that was exciting.I thought we had thrown the game away after 18minutes.Two silly mistakes nearly cost us.I should have learnt by now never to doubt the Bluebirds.
When Rakeem's rocket went in their goalie looked stunned and then another one off Charlie McCann in the second half.Inspired substitutions by Andy Whing which very nearly succeeded in getting us the win,but it wasn,t to be.
A gritty and determined fightback by the Bluebirds.
More of the same please without the mistakes.Onwards and Upwards. :scarf: :scarf:

100% agree!! 2 mistakes put us 2 goals down early doors, can't fault the effort and passion from the team tho, a brilliant comeback that showed fight and determination......another game undefeated!!!!!

A great fightback against a decent Grimsby side. At 0.2 I feared the worst but the Harper goal just before HT got us back in it. The two subs at HT were good decisions and Hemmings kept their CH occupied and won his fair share of flick ons. Good strike from McCann but the Grimsby keeper will probably be disappointed that he never kept it out.
Grimsby were guilty of missing some good chances and will probably feel disapointed they didn’t get all three.
All In all I was happy with a point and our unbeaten run continues

Stanway started to come out then stopped, if he makes his mind to come and get it. they wouldn't have scored!

Personally I don't think it had much to do with Rob Kelly either way - we went two goals down without him and pulled two goals back withiut him!

There was a time a few seasons ago we would go a goal down and that was that. Plenty of fight in this team

If he stayed where he was they might not have scored. Him starting to come made the forwards mind up for him.
Listening to Andy Whing on Radio Cumbria he blamed himself for us going two down. He said once he saw their line up he should have changed our formation but didn’t

He stopped moving forward which part don't you understand, I was looking straight at Stanway everyone around me said the same, sometimes take off those blue tinted glasses they're clouding your judgement!
