I love people’s optimism,” I believe we can do it under Sam” etc etc. let’s be honest, we have very little quality in that squad. The league doesn’t lie.

As mentioned on the Dino thread, it's interesting to see that Simon Ireland, who was brought in end of February as Dino's new Assistant Head Coach, has remained as part of the triumvirate. He does appear to have a good few years in coaching at various clubs. But as Desmond and many others have pointed out, the common denominator is still the Players......

Of course it’s on the players too but you can’t sack all of them can you.

Well..............we could throw the towel in right now or, let optimism flow and get behind Sam the Man and Wozza to try and help push them over the line.

I know there's not much quality in the squad just as much as the next person but sometimes, sometimes that can be made up for by sheer determination-that will to win, if it can be instilled into them.

You’re not wrong Dessy but sometimes one person can make a difference maybe Sam is that person maybe not. I do know one thing each and every one of us this forum love our club.

Yes we’ve got different opinions but we care enough to speak out.
As others have said without hope we have nothing.

Listen up, everyone.

Right now, people look at the table and they see us near the bottom. They see the losses. They see the doubt. But what they don’t see is what’s inside this room.

They don’t see the hours you’ve trained.
They don’t see the tackles you’ve fought through.
They don’t see the heart you bring every single day.

Being at the bottom doesn’t define you. How you respond does.

Every great comeback in football started exactly where we are right now — with a team that refused to give up. A team that decided that the next 90 minutes would be different.

When we walk onto that pitch today, forget the table. Forget the critics. Forget the last game.

Play for the badge.
Play for the teammate next to you.
Play like this is the moment everything turns around.

Win the first tackle.
Win the first header.
Win the first 50–50 ball.

Because momentum starts with one action, then another, and another. Suddenly the crowd believes. Suddenly the other team feels the pressure. Suddenly the game changes.

Look around this room. These are your brothers. When one of you runs, we all run. When one of you fights, we all fight.

Today isn’t about where we are in the league.

It’s about showing everyone who we really are.

Now get out there, give everything for those 90 minutes, and make them remember one thing:

This team never quits.
UP THE BLUEBIRDS
Should be awarded post of the season. I hope this is pinned up in the changing room before all of our remaining last 11 games.

That might have worked 10 years ago but the majority of EFL players are mercenaries, majority take 2 year deals and are off, it's a job to them sometimes you get lucky with the likes of Spence, Gotts and Foley but most have no affinity to our area and probably hate travelling up here etc, don't get me wrong it's great to see all this sentiment but the reality is we're here because of a lot of things but we have to look at the bigger picture

Are we ( as a club) geared up for the EFL

Can we ever become an established EFL club without directors putting thousands of pounds into the club which is unstastainable

We have a ground that makes no money and needs millions spending on it to do this.

We have Ian and friends who volunteer and do a fantastic job!

We alienated young fans by banning under 14 's ( i would have never supported Barrow if this had been in place!)

To be fair to the board I personally think when we got promoted it took them by surprise and then suffered a double whammy with Covid and we're still playing catch up!
I'm in the well if we go down we go down boat,

All I want is to know what plans we have in place if this happens!

Some good points there Nige

Yes it would be brilliant if we had a plan but as I understand it without additional investment our only plan is one of survival.

Our priority is the next game and the game after that, I honestly as much as we’d all like too don’t think we’ll see any sort of plan until our fate has been decided.
See you at the QA Fri. :scarf:

Cheers I and like most on here passionately care about our club, I hope tomorrow the board tells us the hard facts about where we are ,no matter how bad it'll sound then I think it'll put everything into perspective!

Don’t even think about going down, we can do this.
The club / team need our support more than ever these last 11 games. We’ve got to collectively pick ourselves up and get over the line. I know it’s not easy, far from it, but as soon as we give up on them that’s it. Let Tuesday night be the low point. We absolutely must stick with it. Tuesday night you could sense the feeling of dread all around the ground, we cannot be like that on Saturday. All fans need to shout and cheer for everything on Saturday. The crowd needs to be doing our bit to support Foles // Wozza and the boys. Don't give up on them.

BarrowAberdeen / Trust if you pick up on this, can you get as many of the flags / banners in the HSE as possible. Fans, bring your voices. REMEMBER - A BREED APART. “THOSE DIAMOND FOLK WHO BUILT OUR TOWN, IN THE SHADE OF HINDPOOL’S STEEPLE, THEY CARE NOT WHERE YOU’RE FROM, THEY’RE PROUD TO BE A BARROW LAD, AND BLOODY WELL THEY SHOULD” James Dunn

Well said Sam it wasn’t a Winston Churchill type address but it didn’t need to be.
As he said it’s in our hands let’s deal with it and start loving playing football again :scarf: :scarf:
