Can’t help but feel for Sam after he was thrown in the lions den, I’ll be honest I’d of been quite happy with him getting a one year deal to get back on the pitch but with his injury last year I understand why we parted ways, his commitment and hard work cannot be understated, a true grafter who gave everything on and off the pitch.

Top player and a massive miss this year due to his injury. Good luck Sam and I’m sure there’s a future for you in the game!

Thanks Sam, the only player in the entire squad that gave his all in every game he played, the rest, charlatans and mercenaries

Canavan should have been moved on end of last season. Class act first couple of years.
Sam was a superb player the injuries to him and others this season cost us massively

If the club want to build a squad capable of returning to the EFL the time for sentiment or fans favourites is over. Rebuild, keep players good enough and hungry for the fight ahead. Massive season awaits.

Totally agree.

Also less of the “Let’s sign so and so who was good in League One/Two 5 years ago” but is now on his way down. More of the “Let’s sign this young lad, who has the potential to do well, and make it in the EFL”

Under 23s who are hungry to do well, want to give their all and have the potential to play at a higher level.

We need someone in the team who is a dead ball expert.
Our deliveries into the box from free kicks and corners was substandard last year.
Someone good in that department can be a potent weapon
