The ball is firmly in their court and they are keeping hold of it till they get what they want.
If only they did that in the field last season we might not have be relegated.
😅👏
On I F, Agree he wasn’t the quickest but he is a midfielder that was mainly played out of position like so many others, he did ok when fit.
I wish him well and thank him for his efforts :skill:
Anyway it’s a time for out with the old and in with the New.

I think Fletcher had potential with his height and decent ball control. I never noticed his lack of pace, but a player doesn't have to be a greyhound to be good. I think he had an eye for being in the right place at the right time too. I am sorry he has gone. If he continues to develop with Shrewsbury I feel we may regret letting him go. I wonder if there is a sell on clause in the deal?

Just read that Shrewsbury have a 'transfer' embargo for the whole of close season because of a loan payment missed. Apparently this happened last week after the Fletcher deal had gone through.

It’s a 1 window embargo and it just means they can’t sign players for a fee

They can still sign free agents and loans and it has no effect on deals that have already been sanctioned so no issues with the Fletcher deal
