I don’t think we will, but I don’t think we will trouble the top 10 either

Re: Solihull Moors v Barrow match thread
Something absolutely has to change, but it would be insane to change the manager - again - before we've even reached the magic 'judge us after 10 games' mark with this one. Last season showed us that doesn't work and I can't see the Board doing it anytime soon anyway. It clearly isn't working yet though. Surely we'd do better with two up front - a relatively easy fix, but one which might just get us firing? It's difficult to see what identify we have, beyond hoofing the ball and hoofing the opposition. It's all very well being a bit more aggressive but serves us no purpose if we're having our captain sent off (first of several you'd imagine) and losing games as a result. A dreadful start and one Murray needs to rectify sharpish. That patient many of us are trying to have is wearing thinner by the week.

So Murray goes but all his signings stay, not counting Lane only on loan, I was hoping we could stay around the play-offs to keep the interest but many aren`t going to watch that dross, how is it possible to sign so many players not National League Standard, from nearly league 2 play-offs to now looking like relegation from the National League thank God the majority are only on 1 year contracts.

Aldershot 5th an Southend 3rd next thats 10 games gone nothing less than 4 points from them now that gives us 10 points from 10 games relegation form still if we can scrape 4 points somehow best case we could have 12 points but doubtful

Awful, just the worst game of football you’ll ever watch. He’s going to strip anything resembling football out of this club if we let him and god help the next manager, there won’t be anyone left who can control a football and pass it to a teammate. I really hope we’ve been lied to about the budget, because if this is the parachute money gamble, it’s only going to get worse.

Playing Devils Avocado, who’s to blame?
I’d be more inclined to sack the board.

Re: Solihull Moors v Barrow match thread
I wonder who from the board is ok ing these signings? How on earth do we expect playoffs when some of these players just aren't good enough !Steeley wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2026 10:19 pmSigned most of them from the regional leaguesbehind the goals wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2026 10:06 pm So Murray goes but all his signings stay, not counting Lane only on loan, I was hoping we could stay around the play-offs to keep the interest but many aren`t going to watch that dross, how is it possible to sign so many players not National League Standard, from nearly league 2 play-offs to now looking like relegation from the National League thank God the majority are only on 1 year contracts.
Does anyone hand on heart think this team is getting any better no decent central defender, left back no quality midfielder just bad wingers it's a joke!
Re: Solihull Moors v Barrow match thread
Totally agree Nige - the vast majority of new signings are just not good enough.
Re: Solihull Moors v Barrow match thread
Getting beat by the team propping up the table is nothing new. We have a long history of it.
