If we continue our progress up the table and possibly become a challenger to Boreham Wood do we really want to transfer him to them as he seems to be scoring goals for fun at the moment.

When's his contract up?

If Jan 2028 then id be playing hard ball with BW right now as hes scoring for fun & they will want to try keep that going etc so while he's hot demand a fee or were loaning him out to your rivals, its a cut throat business & they are flush.

No. Players on loan cannot play against their parent club.

On loan till December 12th but nothing stopping Borehamwood making an offer for the player. I might be incorrect with the date perhaps Adam knows the details

According to the playing squad section on this forum the loan period to Boreham Wood says its until mid December. So obviously he can't play against us on Dec 5th. However, this also might be a good move on our part as the EFL transfer window open on Jan 1st & an EFL club might come in for him if he keeps his goalscoring form going. I would prefer he does not go to Boreham Wood as we might turn into a rival if out current form continues. Plus I feel Whitfield is an EFL player quality wise & someone might be interested in him. However, we all know money talks & I'm told Boreham Wood have a lot of it.

If he continues as he has started he will become hot property albeit only six months of a contract remaining. So other clubs than Boreham Wood will undoubtedly show interest.
