Based on the fact our team are already here and have trained up at Rakesmoor lane this afternoon

Do you think our club would have had the players travel through to Barrow this early if there was any doubt surrounding the game?

Nowadays.
Won’t Forest Green already be somewhere in the area? If anything it’s more likely we get a last minute call off from the ref when the heavens open 2pm onwards

There's nothing dangerous about that forecast, normal "breeze" for here at this time of year.
Surprised the Snowflake forecasters haven't told us to "stay at home - danger to life"

Yes because they are professional footballers and until the referee says otherwise then they’ll follow their usual day of events.

Players have been in Barrow before when games have been called off so it means absolutely nothing

No wind here and just walked my dog on Walney. I can't find anything on the Barrow website to say the game is off. Ridiculous post
Just say no to VAR :sentoff:

It’s not off. It’s the calm before the storm of the century.

The club wont have a say if the game is going to be off, ref or local ref will make that decision. Players will have to come as nobody knows if the game will be on or off until the ref makes a decision.

Can you just clarify who makes the decision you didnt mention it SAG called a game off last season because a road was shut

I'll be going but I hate games like this it'll be a farce and people on the popular side shouting keep it down etc who've never played in conditions like today!
