This was a win for the manager. Saw that the first half wasn't good enough and made changes at half-time to change things. I haven't seen him mentioned on here but Ward was very good. As soon as he came on we started passing the ball on the ground instead of hoofing it up in the air and he is definitely the midfield player who can see and make a forward pass.
If there are 3 players who make the difference in terms of creativity they are Thompson, Allan and Ward and I'd start those 3 all the time. However, the manager obviously knows what he's doing and the way he switches players around is excellent.
It's keeping them all keen and the spirit is the best I've seen since Evatt's team.
I assume Digne is injured but I've obviously missed seeing anything about why he hasn't been around lately.
The only thing I'd disagree with the manager about is playing Walker as I've yet to see him contribute at all.

Other than when he came very close to scoring with an overhead kick from a corner
Do you scour the match threads after the game looking to correct throw away comments. Go and enjoy the goals in the highlights
No. It just seemed an odd comment about Reid given it was the closest we came to scoring in the first half.
The constant negativity about players posted on this forum does irk me slightly and I’m always happy to provide some balance.

Who’s ever in charge of the highlights must be a Halifax fan. As soon as the winner goes in it cuts off. No celebrations 🤣

Six wins in a row and we are supposed to believe that Reid isn’t good enough, Cameron is awful and Walker doesn’t contribute anything. 🫩🫩🫩

If you missed the Radio Cumbria commentary from last night, this is worth a listen.
Adam Johnson and Dior Angus at their best.

I’d have been happy with a point last night before the game let alone at 2 down. Not the first time we’ve come back and scored so late in the game so says a lot about the fitness and character.last season we were on the wrong end of comebacks like that.

First half by all accounts was as poor as Solihull which was awful and I thought could’ve spelt the end for Murray. We are a different team now though not so much personnel but belief and confidence.

Innes Cameron may not be the quickest but he’s a battering ram and after a good game at Gloucester and being on the end of an awful challenge, he deserves that for working hard and proving a few people wrong. Goals aren’t an issue and we seem to find a way through different people and getting the ball into the box. Even more impressive when you consider two first choice defenders were out and then another goes off injured. Luckily PK is back at the weekend not sure on Digie but he’s not convinced me
So far so it’s another opportunity for someone else perhaps which shows the squad strength. No one is guaranteed a start.

Great credit to Adam Murray and all the players he brought in.
2 points after 5 games.
22 points from the last 9.
Even after last night's enthralling win, he and the players weren't happy with the performance.
Step off the gas, and you get what we saw first half.
That hurt them more than that comeback performance.

Watched last night and I nearly turned over to watch Fleetwood
Watchrd them beat Arsenal on penalties.
We looked dead and buried .
Harper has improved or being managed better.
We will be playing Boreham Wood early December we need to beat them.
I still think we can win this league and that's what we need to do
You have to wonder why Winterbottom was not played more last season.

From the early classic “Stand Up” I think. Side one never used to be off the turntable.

So, Mark, are you suggesting it was bit Laurel and Hardy to begin with, before a fine mess became an unforgettable miracle?
