Whitfield does not strike me as that type. His partner recently had a baby and I’m certain being happy in his football and settled will be top of his priorities and at this present moment in time Boreham Wood appear to be giving him
that

Great, there goes any chance of us getting rid on a permanent basis😂
Good result for Pete Wild there in his second game.

Wasn’t an injury as such
He had a bit of cramp which is natural for someone playing over 50minutes having hardly kicked a ball in anger for around 6 months

Probably injured again unfortunately

Will sit in the stand and see his contract out and probably call it a day

Shame , can’t blame him

Time as a club for us to be ruthless Lew dogg, we are too nice in these situations, another player whos taken us as a club for a ride. Treat him like a leper and make him do all the school visits etc

Make sure hes sat in the stands every home/away game. He will soon be thinking about cancelling the remainder of his contract

Williams - the one who got 2 yellows in the first half-hour at Solihull and has not been seen since.

Another baffling decision to award him Earing a new contract late last season after he had a few injury problems and hardly stood out when he did play. Another Andy Whing disaster signing that we're still paying for.
MJ Williams might there be a place for him at centre half with injuries as things stand? Not sure on Digie and Adetotoro and how long they're out for?

He played an amount of games that triggered a contract extension apparently. And has hardly featured since.
Pete Wild on JE;
This week saw Jack Earing return to Barrow after an injury-hit short loan spell, while goalkeeper Max Thompson has left after his one-month deal was up. It leaves Pools short in the goalkeeper department, though Max Merrick will return to the starting XI on Saturday at Boreham Wood.
Asked if there was any wiggle room to bring players in, with Jack Earing going back, Wild told BBC Tees Sport: “Sadly not, no. You get the honeymoon period, don't you, where you go and get two or three in but again, like I've said to all of you over the last few weeks, the market you're fishing in is a market of people that are not playing at their current club unless we go and pay 50, 60, 100 grand for somebody we ain't going to get anything different. “Are you going in the young loan market? I think we've got enough young boys in the building at the moment. So yeah, Jack going back doesn't really help the case but we've got to try and get more out of the people who we have in the building at the moment.”
