I think people need to realise when we came out of the league last time we were getting gates of 200 or less.
I often wondered where had the several thousands gone
We have had a lack lustre couple of seasons.
Despite the poor football at the start we've improved
There are far more things to do now days.
If we continue to improve and hopefully win the league and have a cup run people will come
Itd in the players hands.
Disappointed at the draw but Eastleigh managed us well , hopefully we will get the result on Saturday .
Barrow v Eastleigh match thread
Re: Barrow v Eastleigh match thread
I see Eastleigh have said their player Temi Eweka suffered multiple facial fractures. Best wishes for a full and rapid recovery.

I cannot recall a longer delay to treat an injury (at Holker Street at least) than that one on Saturday. Horrific. Without knowing the precise severity of the fractures, I hope it means he will get back in due course. At the time I did wonder if it might have been a broken neck which would have been career-ending, especially for a defender who heads the ball a lot. As you say, Stephen, best wishes go to him for a full recovery. Even with full physical recovery I guess it will be tough mentally to go challenging for 50-50 balls in the air so I wish him all the courage in the world to come through this traumatic event.

Bit of bad luck for the lad; https://footballlowdown.com/eastleigh-c ... jury-blow/
But hopefully he will make a full recovery.

Only ones I can think of was the Sam Parkin leg break against Boston and the infamous B@stock jig that made it so hostile the ref had to abandon it.pjdaly wrote: ↑Mon Nov 02, 2026 2:36 pmI cannot recall a longer delay to treat an injury (at Holker Street at least) than that one on Saturday. Other was Peter Smith slamming into the concrete wall and punctured his lung.
Gods’ former athlete.

Gregg Blundell had a nasty injury when he was shoved into the wall by the thug that was James Jennings, which ended up with Dave Baylis grabbing him by the throat at the end of the game. I’m sure he ended up in hospital although no long lasting injuries.
Then of course there was Jacob Blyth in the friendly at holler I think he broke his shoulder on his debut there and was out for a few months. Probably summed up his time here really
