My Nephew who comes with me to night matches has already said "No thanks especially with what is coming at home next". This decease that is affecting us all after last Saturday is going to turn lots away. We MUST find these thugs and rid them of every ground in the country.

People go on about us been a Family club And they will not come with what has happened It does make me laugh They'll be the same people let the kids watch stuff on the TV That'll be a lot worse And let them play video games that will have a lot more violence in it and what will happen on Saturday

.. I did however witness a group of City "Supporters" goading a group of local youths with a large police presence around them before the game..This cannot have helped matters that occurred after the game...

As quote in the York Press by a York fan who was there.

You're right but I spent a good hour having to explain it didn't happen at Holker street perhaps in a few days the club can explain this and make a statement concerning safety in the ground to alleviate any parents concerns

Get a grip of yourself. What happened was unacceptable we all agree on that, you had to spend an hour explaining it ? The club release a statement regarding ground safety, where do you think you are Millwall.

I was expecting it to be kids, but a 22 year old man has been bailed?!

I guess there is no age limit on stupidity.

I don't think there is anything to fear from Macclesfield + it's an evening game. They'll be very limited away support .

A bit over-the-top, if you ask me, Orpheus. Holker Street hasn't suddenly turned into The Den with West Ham's ICF on the way... :D

It was an isolated incident - outside the ground. No other coaches have been stoned this season - and hopefully, there won't be any more incidents like last Saturday's...

How far away would the bus need to be for it not to be associated with the club?

Proper little scumbags.

Spot on Al. Some people on this forum need to engage their brain before they type. Perhaps we were to blame at Atherstone as well - thats how bonkers it is to blame anyone else!!!

Totally agreed!

As a club, a community and a collective, I think we should be proud of what we are! The people who did this are the ones at fault and should and hopefully will have the book thrown at them.
The police do a reasonable job as do the stewards (not always agreeable) but HS is a safe place (apart from random bits of rust falling from antique floodlights) and that's down to the people who attend (best fans int world) Police, stewards and the club.
For people to jump on the "its not safe no more" and "you don't get this at rugby" and "it a barrow football problem" need to have a think about what they are saying.. Its a very very unfortunate and rare thing to happen and is most definitely rock all to do with BAFC!
