Disappointing game. They were there for the taking but Cooper told us it would not be pretty for a few games while we cut out the soft goals, and we've done that : 3 clean sheets in succession. Zanzala's control is awful.
Throwing a firework is brain dead any time but to throw one among your own defies belief.

Nothing has gone wrong we just need to know what the situation is with players /finances plus if you turned up for the other meet the managers nights you would see me there voicing my opinions but alas ive never seen you there nige

Without trying to sound patronising, there's lots of avenues to contact the club if you have any niggling issues.
Fans SLO, The Bluebirds Trust have a board member, Email our CEO ,our Manager is always questioning players attitudes etc and we have Podcasts and Newsletters Emailed to us ,if you're not happy with all this ,then suggest a meeting but while it's not brilliant now on the pitch, we definitely CAN'T criticise the club for not keeping us informed, we're lightyears from where we were a few years ago AND in the EFL !

Carlisle gave Barrow seating in the worst possible area large section looked on to the end of the terrace behind the goals, treated the Barrow fans very poorly, worst ground I have been to this season game was awful and even the linesman missed two offsides in the closing minutes one of which Carlisle hit the bar which could have ended in a riot, he also awarded Carlisle a free kick after a Barrow player was pushed to the ground and fell at his feet, obviously did not need Specsavers if he saw that.

Dreadful game, but we missed two chances in the first half that should have been goals and it would be a different story. If we are going to play like this then White alongside Banks and Gotts please, there was plenty of times they seemed to have the freedom of midfield to switch the ball about

If they weren't so poor we'd have been turned over for exactly this reason, we didn't strengthen anything in defence yesterday, in fact we probably increased our chances of conceding. It was just lucky we came up against an absolutely abysmal Carlisle side.

All this clean sheet nonsense we've tightened up against a park team, a kids side and a hopeless carlisle who will be relegated.

What a wasted opportunity let's not start the glad to be here nonsense there's nowt in this league, yes we need a striker but even ours could have won us it had we created more chances and dominated the ball.

I am a bit of a 'happy clapper' when it comes to our team, but I do feel that we have regressed in recent weeks. A couple of months ago, I felt we were playing attractive, expansive football and looked a reasonably competent team, albeit with some weaknesses.. We lacked a decent striker and there were occasional lapses in defence which have cost us points, but it looks as though the baby has been inadvertently ejected with the bathwater.

I have faith in Cooper and if he says he is going to get the defence right then build from there, that's ok with me. However, our main strength is arguably the midfield trio of Banks, Gotts and Stevens (to which one could add White, I think), so a tactic that effectively nullifies them seems to me to be a mistake. Our best threats going forward are Gotts and Stevens, plus the pace of Kay and Hutton. The letter two both have defensive weaknesses, but need to be used, IMO. I am glad I am not Cooper, because he has a dilemma in making the most of the talents he has at his disposal whilst eliminating the weaknesses we have seen. He will get it right, though.

^^^ good post. We did miss two good chances, but they hit the bar too late on and so it could have been worse, so even with the way he set up yesterday and we still could have come away with nothing. What concerned me is that we looked tired from early second half and didn’t press when out of possession. We need the leaders out there- Ellis / Taylor types who can give them that verbal push when needed. If we have a footballing identity- stick with it and improve on that. We went the other way yesterday and I think it took us all by surprise.

if Cooper doesn't want wingbacks play White at the back of a diamond and 2 up front, surely this would help rather that a back 5 which more or less just sits there !

We are as near the play offs as the relegation zone. All this negativity. - some people need to take a reality check

It's a seating area that has particular issues for historical reasons and yesterday's low sun added to them but how many clubs are going to give anything but their worst area to visitors and leave it for their own fans who attend every fortnight?

Mind, I'm not sure that asking a former East German government trainee architect to design the away concourse was a masterstroke...

If it was all about bank balances and plastic seats we'd be stuck in non league forever, while the likes of Wrexham Notts County and Stockport would still be warming their feet at the efl fire. If you go and play with fear of getting beat you get what we got yesterday, there isn't a team in this league we should be worried about not one!

I don't mind the Little old bara mentality but just happy to make up the numbers, no thanks! Morecambe gained promotion with a budget much lower than ours but I suppose they like us in our promotion season we're just glad to be there!
