The way I read that is he was dismissed for the foul and is now further charged with improper conduct towards a match official. Does that mean he could receive more than the 3 match ban?

Southend were national league, I was trying to say it's his first fill season in the Football League and he's still pretty raw. Although I haven't fact checked so could be miles off

I don't think you can put a number on it for sports people. For example Norman Whiteside seemed to be at the height of his powers at 17 but retired at 26. Ryan Giggs also debuted at 17 with a lot to learn and played at the highest level until he was 40.

Whiteside retired with a knee injury. Giggs put his longevity down to yoga and being regularly chased down the street by irate boyfriends, husbands, brothers etc.

The oldest debutant for Barrow was Len Smelt in 1926 when he made his first appearance for us at the age of 42. Good try, Sam Foley, but you arrived just a few years too soon . . . . .
