I want this season to end now. Very frustrating. Sometimes in a bad season, the derby games are at least like a cup final type occasion , but we just don’t show up to them.

That was embarrassing. Felt sorry for Sam Foley who gave everything.
Sick of Carlisle coming to Holker street for a party.
The Barrow " good lads" policy does not work.
Weak as [SwearFilter].

Sorry but tonight was poor.Aquah had an open goal and all he had to do was to run on a bit more move to the right and shoot into an open goal, but what he.did was to kick the ball straight at the goalie. He wasn,t the only culprit.I could count at least two more shots like that in the second half.We were pathetic, hoof ball in the air and run after it.
Granted there was a lot of possession but no end result. That has to change if we are to survive this season.I for one don,t blame Andy Whing. He is working with some else's players a lot of whom are just not good enough.Carlisle showed fight and determination something our players did not .Hopefully there will be a mass clear out before next season .

We lost on their only shot on target. I wouldn’t say battered but were massively on top for 30 minutes.
People moan about recruitment and managers etc but spine of our team tonight, Farman, canavan, gotts, Spence, Aquah, whitfield, who we’ve all loved (maybe minus Aquah) maybe, just maybe, they are not good enough to take us to that next level

Toothless yet again.
It's not just that we got beat but it's the fact we got beat by a team below us.
We have given. Carlisle the impetus and the irony is this defeat could see them go on and overtake us.n
The team looks like the team who saw us voted out of the league.
Can anyone see us picking another point up.
Aquah runs round like Richard the 3 rd looking for his horse at Bosworth field.
Presley is a centre forward who does not score goals.
We have players who can get the ball in the area but he wants to lay balls off rather than scoring..
The recruitment has been terrible.
We have a club with people with titles who are basically stealing a living.be it Director of Football to set piece coach.
Watching the team they are devoid of ideas.
I want Whing to succeed but he is looking out of his depth.

I wonder how much money we are going to waste getting rid of managers before we realise it’s the players not the managers who are crap

Team full of rats who constantly bottle it in under any form of pressure assembled by a leach of a football agent disguised as a director of football. Too much dead wood signed under failed previous regimes and players who know they won’t be here next season so why bother getting stuck in. Too many players whose forms fell off a cliff, Farman canavan Spence Jackson to name a few. It’s really a sad state of affairs. Any real barrow fan could have told you last night was going to happen but the new manager bounce has worn off now and the problems are highlighted yet again. Can anyone genuinely see us picking up a point in march? Knowing barrow we’ll probably nick something against a better side but that’s just hoping. Major overhaul needed from top to bottom if I’m honest, weak as [SwearFilter] and a team full of cowards

We ran out of steam and out of ideas. Carlisle are a terrible side but what does tell you about us. There’s no pattern to our play and the ball was in the air all the time and lumping it up to Acquah. Awful football. We have gone backwards this season. Not convinced with Whing either.
In a nutshell there Jonty lad. Carlisle are the worst team in the EFL but they were better than us. In our inner selves we all knew the classic signs of failure were there from the start:
Big crowd
Carlisle
Acquah starting
No Vassell
No Campbell
Rookie manager
Collapse on conceding
Pedro's iceberg
Not a night to remember

Yes; hopefully Duru, Vassell and Campbell are back sooner rather than later as they will make a big difference imho but yes we will pick another point up

Thanks for another 3 points lads!
We’ve been poor all season, but weren’t really threatened by yourselves for the majority of the match.
As an outsider looking at your team, it’s clearout time. Lot of names who’ve been around a while now (listen to Radio Cumbria a lot so familiar with your squad). Oh, if that Aquah is a L2 striker then I’m Lionel Messi, absolutely atrocious player.
Panic on the streets of Carlisle? I’d be looking to Hang the DJ lads!
See you next season!

Completely out played Carlisle 1st half, woeful finishing again, Acquahs last start I hope, we ran out of steam and ideas 2nd half and Carlisle managed the last 20 minutes very well. Time to start Stanway, get minutes into Barnes and Fletcher, see what they've got. Plenty of players will leave in the summer and I think it'll be a few seasons of mid-table mediocrity while we re-build into a decent L2 outfit, not a team which has punched above it's weight for the last 3 seasons

The reality is that we lack the resources to successfully compete at EFL standard for a prolonged period of time. Sure with good management and signings we can survive for a few seasons, but when standards drop our inherent weakness is exposed. This is nobody’s fault, it’s just the way things are. What’s more it’s always been the case.
In our previous time in the Football League, apart from three glorious years we were constantly facing re-election to maintain our status. If automatic relegation had existed from Division 4 we would have spent much of our time in Non-League. Our league position today is actually above that of our long term norm from those days.
Turning today, we are in a downward spiral. Our game consists of hoof ball, hit and hope. On those rare occasions when we do string a couple of passes together and create chances our strike force lacks the ability to convert anything like an acceptable proportion of those chances into goals. And why is that? It’s simply because we lack the resources to be able to afford the wages of a proficient L2 standard striker, which takes us back to the fundamental problem as to why we are struggling. Lack of resources.
I know this post will be met with hostility. I will be accused of being negative. However it’s not negativity it’s realism. We have to accept realism in order to make the best of what we’ve got.

I’d agree to a point there but we have spent considerable amounts of money on the likes of Mahoney, Telford, Garner, Worrall and Proctor to name but a few, and we’ve been had.
Not all signings work out but none of our big name ones have for some time. Our best players are still a 38yr old who was released last summer, and Spence from non league who is one of the few bright sparks.
It’s not all about money it does help but you need to manage it well too, we haven’t. Mahoney and Kouyate contracted for next season good luck shifting them.

Pity he didn’t show any sort of passion on the touch line!
From what I saw Whingy was sat down most of the time while Hughes on the other hand, was prowling up and down the touchline getting into his players.
