Wouldnt be a bad idea if a few forum chaps were posted on the popular side steps or turnstiles taking donations towards this if the club would allow or even allow a half time collection aswell at the next 3 home games.......been a cracking response to this and well done to all !!!!!!come on gen man your thoughts.... keep it up Ste

Lets get some life back into this. Anybody have a few punds left before tomorrowa game? Not long until payday.

15£ more from Denmark this morning.

Come on, let's have a push up to 2.500£.

finally been able to donate, sorry its only a tenner buts thats all i can afford atm, hopefully will be able to put some more in next week.

this has been a fantastic effort and with one big push we could smash the £2500 mark. whether its £1 or £1000 just donate whatever we can, every penny really does count. whether it means 1 less pint on a saturday night or walking instead of catching the bus every little penny.........

We may not be in the greatest of numbers, but things like this really show what a great little club we are, when at the end of the day people are willing to put their hard earned money into this; even when times are really hard for everyone, is just amazing and although i only know a few people personally on this forum it just shows how great the people of this forum and beyond are.

Top effort from everyone involved!!!! :flag:

Many thanks bigmac - It all counts! Fantastic effort so far.

For those who wish to give me some cash at the game today - i'll be in the xbar before the game; and also on the popside when we're shooting at the steelworks end, or holker end when shooting that way - Just ask around and i'm sure you'll find me.

Thanks all!

Hope the police aren't videoing the crowd today because you're going to look very, very suspect with people handing over little brown envelopes to you all afternoon. ;)

Another £195 today from people giving me cash at the games - top effort! Just shy of £2500 now, not including the money from YJMs shirt auction.

Keep it going guys, every penny goes towards our final total! Even if its a spare fiver you have in your pocket at Luton on Tuesday, or a couple of quid you have left over in your bank/paypal just before payday - Lets try and smash the £3,000 total!

just an idea but would it be a good idea to open the syndicate up to more afc fans.
for example ask the club to send a message on the tannoy asking people to come on here to donate or even go round with a bucket

could even ask the mail to put a little paragraph at the end of a match report asking fans to donate, could help boost the fund and give this site some large scale exposure ;)
just a thought
