Proper little scumbags.
Probably parked up in the bus depot in York !
Well according to the post top this thread, Macclesfield fans will park their bus in Macclesfield. They have decided not to run one due the the York incident.

Hope they're not using that as an excuse to cover the lack of numbers mentioned in the 1st sentence

I didn't attend last season's encounter with The Silk Men. However, I read - either on here or in the local press - that Macclesfield fans had caused a minor disturbance on the terraces when they visited. So, it might be for the best that they aren't traveling here again.

Macclesfield fans were drunk, drinking and causing a nuisance in the ground and when we never segregated the police had to get in between the fans to split up a confrontation. After their visit last season they are the last team that should be slagging off other fans

I think the lack of numbers for an away midweek game rather than what happened here against York is the more likely reason they won't run a bus.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't that confrontation between the Macclesfield fans and a small group of youths? A group seen taking little interest in the game, standing on the Holker St end next to the away fans all game, seen leaving 10 minutes or so before the end of a game, etc. Does anyone know if this group has been linked with the bus incident or was it that someone else?

Reading the Macclesfield thread again, it does look like a throw away comment but it is put forward as one of two reasons why they are not running a coach. Your right the real reason is they can't get enough people and last season coupled with the bricking of the York bus may have added to that. Either way the trouble is being used as an additional reason for not coming. The fact it is being mentioned does not look good as it is being linked with the club and tarring the fans.

NWEM has a new story saying 4 teenagers arrested, plus one 22 year old.

The Macclesfield Fans were drunk and intent in winding anyone from Barrow up with slander about racism,it was not directed at a perticular group but Barrow fans in general,a pack of gob*****s that will not be missed.

No. it wasn't between Macclesfield fans and any 'youths'.

I remember the return fixture where they had the EDL (or whatever they call themselves) flags and chants and ended up fighting among themselves? A bit rich labeling us as racists in a comment no one but one player, and his manager backing him up, heard..

That is brilliant from them lot, as if no-one isn't going to see through that that it's lack of numbers why the bus isn't running

Was all over north west tonight yesterday, not going to do the club any favours in the public eye all this.

Aye, saw that yesterday. It was on on Sunday too. Maybe we need to re-engage that PR company again?

Yes it's not good, especially as when Emma spoke at that event last week and was saying how it's been difficult trying to get local businesses back on board.
This will be no help whatsoever.
