Yep. How to build a stand.
It was a lovely looking stand to be fair.
And on the 7th day god created football

All I did was ask a perfectly legitimate question and get accused of being negative ffs.
Only joking.
I am afraid it's a poor side how ARH is still here I don't know.
The only players I can see being of quality is goalkeeper Moore,Adi Yussaf and Harrison poor quality the rest.
For once Pedro, I agree with you
how we get there i don,t no.Barrows on the way

That was really bad. Embarrassing. Fylde were poor, but Barrow were worse. Shocking that 'professional' footballers are unable to do the basics of controlling the ball and passing to a teammate.

Fyldes keeper was excellent but let's not kid ourselves that it was a good performance (not that anyone is). Flyde were not great and it was literally luck that separated the sides. White should have buried that rebound from Gomis shot first half too. Neither side had any idea on how to retain possession for more than a couple of passes and our long ball tactics were horrible to watch with very little end product. Changes needed all over.

If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

if theres one positive from tonight its grant holt saying he is interested I can confirm he said when he left hibs he has his coaching badges.
bizarrely tho i got chatting to a chesterfield fan today who said he was going to watch match tonight as he wanted to see diarra as he reckons cox is joining back room team and bringing him with him? he also didn't understand steve airey leaving them and reckoned he would be a great national league manager

I don't think defending was the main problem. In fact, it looked the least of our problems to me! The main problem was that we couldn't put 2 passes together going forward and our only attacking threat was from balls hit forrward for Yussef to do something on his own or long punts into their penalty area. I didn't see Jones doing too much wrong and although I don't think he's great I don't think Barthram got caught out too much. However, I can't say many of our new players are as good as the ones we lost. Moore v Flatt, Barthram v Beeley, Nieskens v Livesey, Jones v Anderton, Bennett v Yusseff, White v Hannah, Williams v Bauress, Gomis v Turnbull. I might take Moore over Flatt and Gomis over Turnbull but it's close but otherwise I'd take all the players from last season.

Mental from the owner who obviously hasn't a clue about running a football club

I'd put Yussuf over Bennett too. I like Jones but he's not a patch on Anderton

Mark Johnson wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 9:58 pm My gripe about Hughes is that he is playing as a professional footballer and obviously enjoyed his summer too much. Fair enough, enjoy yourself but have respect to the people who pay your wages to come back looking fit and if not you have the whole pre season to do that.

When he came on he was sluggish, the close up of him was embarrassing and I'm not having a go at overweight people in general but anyone playing professional football should be fit. Unless you are good enough to not have to be fit, but no one at this level

Makoma looked fit and hungry - good lad hope to see more of him
don't blame hughes blame the management team
Hughes should be blamed for turning up vastly overweight but the management team should be blamed even more for allowing it and then playing him! Of course, they will say that the squad is too small and we have injuries but as a matter of principle it shouldn't be allowed and basically tells the other players they can get away with almost anything.

Starved is any decent service

Still our top scorer

Team is shite mate
So was Yusseff but at least he made something out of nothing. White may as well have not been on the field. No pace and no control.

In terms of progressing as a club without doubt. Lovely stand and superb pitch. Not interms of a team, however, because they're as poor as we are!
