However felt we had the right man in Cox
Over to you Mr Casson
Think you haven't a clue to be honest
Love you to prove me wrong
Can't for the life of me understand why you wanted Cox out, but you did, and now it's uo to you to prove you were correct

Although he did very little in an attacking sense I thought he tracked back really well and definitely helped Barthram out in the first half. Fylde looked much more dangerous on that flank to me after he went off. However, if anybody said he could be the next Pogba then they can't ever have played or watched a football match!blue nige wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 10:37 pmHe's a young lad in another country playing in a physical league give the lad some credit there really are some clowns on here!Bluebarrowman wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 10:30 pm My God

Cox jumped ship. Not up to the fight?
Really disappointed with Fylde. With the money they have spent and their so called plan I expected better quality. However they won we didnt. Barrow need a new leader to inject some pattern of play. It wasnt a great game but on the other hand we could have won it. Funny old game. Cheer up everyone!

Stood behind Ray Wilkie for years. Best education I ever had.

Re: FYLDE V BARROW match thread
I do. Shocking decision to bring Makoma off after 50 minutes. When BT asked Moore why he made the change, he said because Makoma is 18... OK. At 18, anyone can run for 90 minutes he probably could have kept going for 180. Was he was a bit raw, yes, but he ran his socks off and that is what we needed tonight. Poor decision to take him off. And if he was going to take him off why take him off after 50 minutes, why not at half time. Fair enough, enjoy yourself but have respect to the people who pay your wages to come back looking fit and if not you have the whole pre season to do that.
When he came on he was sluggish, the close up of him was embarrassing and I'm not having a go at overweight people in general but anyone playing professional football should be fit. Unless you are good enough to not have to be fit, but no one at this level
Makoma looked fit and hungry - good lad hope to see more of him

Not could have won but should have won! 3 very easy chances missed while Fylde have nothing other than the goal they scored! Still an awful performance, though!!thegaffer77 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 10:42 pm Cox jumped ship. Not up to the fight?

Re: FYLDE V BARROW match thread
If the lad was going to be another Pogba he wouldn't be playing for us. Big clubs don't miss players with the talent of Pogba these days! I just wish somebody would give me even money of the lad ever playing for France because I'd bet my house against it happening!blue nige wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 10:45 pmBe careful I remember watching thiery Henri when he first started playing and everyone slated him too!russell_anderson wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 10:41 pm Although he did very little in an attacking sense I thought he tracked back really well and definitely helped Barthram out in the first half. They certainly didn't! They wanted to keep him but had slipped up by leaving his contract renewal too late asuming he would sign and he wouldn't sign a new one because he thought he should be playing in the first team so went to Italy as a free agent. Cost them a lot of money to get him back.blue nige wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 10:52 pmMan utd did!russell_anderson wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2017 10:48 pm If the lad was going to be another Pogba he wouldn't be playing for us.
