I don’t think any of the “fools” above have their heads buried in the sand. There’s just evidence to suggest there isn’t radical cost cutting like some say there is, for example sacking Moore wouldn’t have been cheap.

However everyone knows we shouldn’t be where we are. I’ll start to panic if the new manager whoever that may be can’t buy a win and can’t bring any players in.

As vialli says.... we have good players. Some are injured and will return. The moose and the Dutchman would not have let three in tonight but Dixon maybe one. Moore is the better keeper bring him back in.
These lads are not earning their wages.
Lack of effort and guidance.
Football is not a complicated game otherwise players of low intelligence wouldn't progress. Yes wayne I'm pointing at you and becks, maracoke etc. Some of our best managers are equally brain challenged but they get results.

Moore was not sacked he is on "gardening leave" (the club will still be paying him)the same situation Edmo was in when he had the managers role taken away from him. If Moore gets a job somewhere else he will have to negotiate a pay off from Barrow. Edmo had to do the same when he got a role at Bradford Park Avenue. Its cheaper than paying whats left on the contract in Moores case it would have been two and a half years.

Who on earth gave a person with little or no management experience a contract like that? Possibly a person with no knowledge of football who was trying to 'save' the club money.

It's what you get when an owner has decided he has had enough of putting money into a club. The owner has effectively withdrawn from spending anything other than the absolute minimum. Don't expect to see a manager who knows what he's doing (in fact, no decent manager would even contemplate working for a club in Barrow's current state!) and don't expect any decent players to arrive as they would cost serious money. You could see one or two of the few decent players leaving though with some stupid story about them not fitting the current style of play! A few nonentities might turn up who will play for peanuts as a sop to some fans (you can fool some of the people some of the time!) and no doubt the new manager and any new players will be hailed as world beaters by Andrew Casson!

If he's withdrawn funding then we wouldn't have the players we have and we would have stuck with Moore. Things aren't great but that's all part of being a Barrow fan, the last side that went down would have been on half the money this lot are on
