Notts County FC (A) match thread

For all things Barrow AFC. Keep discussions civil and fair, we're all Barrow aren't we!

To be honest, at the match we all shouted for it but as soon as it wasn't given we turned to each and said it wasn't fully over the line. The photo doesn't prove it at that angle - it would need to be on the ground and with clear space visible to be certain. However, that's how close we were to a creditable draw.

Agree with that Matty been improving for a while now he has character.

Watched Notts 2nd goal today via social media from behind the goal. Our defending was appalling. After the first ball was 'defended' they simply stood around watching, canavan being the worst culprit! No wonder we keep conceding - no urgency whatsoever and if I knew how to share a link to the video I would but a quick search and you can find it. Canavan - lead by example man, put your heart and soul in!!

TBH Jonty I’d say it looks pretty conclusive, without the technology I’d say 99 times out of a 100 that would’ve been given. We have had no luck with officials all season.
I don't think it is conclusive as that picture was taken at an angle to the line, not straight on, which would show something completely different.

However yesterday is yesterday and we have to get it together for Tuesday.

Come on lads - let's get a few more points on the board!

There are two different pictures. The second one shows the Notts County defender in the goalmouth well behind the line with all of the ball over the line.Once again Barrow has been denied a goal.Surely this has to change! What with some of the unfair red and yellow cards where the opposition has been.getting away with allsorts,I,m beginning to believe that there is a concerted effort to deny Barrow AFC it's place in the EFL.It does not do any good the EFL apologising when a wrong decision has been made,it still doesn't alter the result.
