What's more, who could have missed out without a thread being started about them having fallen out with Bayliss?

So is he injured or not?

Maybe he should try going out and getting completely [SwearFilter] before filling his body with fast food as a hangover cure?

i spoke with obi early today there nothing wrong with him he said it not his decision to play it up to DB weather he plays but he is fit

If he is fit DB should unleash him on Saturday. Everything else he tried so far has resulted in 2 points... Let him at them!

Yes. Always has been, the Conference dont have the same rules as the Football League/Premier League.

Give him a go on the wing in place of Ruthers at least he'll go forward and "scare" defenders a bit

Any things better than Rutherford. He needs to learn the aim of the game is to get the ball into the net and stop running away from it.

Agree with you there Dave.From what I've seen of him albeit only the once,he looks direct when running with the ball and would very obviously have the nous to get us the odd thing or two in,and around the box!.

Apart from that, at times last season we struggled to find five bodies to warm the bench; with our wafer-thin squad trying to find any more substitutes - of which a maximum of just three can come on - could be embarrassing.

The problem with Ruthers is clearly confidence and why it affects him so much is a mystery to me? The club has put a lot of faith in him, which for most players would be an indication that they are capable of doing a job! He has the ability and it will probably only take the one good game and result for him to kick start his stalling career but at what point do you say enough is enough and let someone like Obi (who I aint seen yet) have a crack instead? Maybe thats the answer, stick Ruthers on the bench and make him want to prove himself by fighting for a position in the starting 11 because any genuine player would fight tooth n nail to be in a starting line up and not be happy getting a wage and warming the bench (free loaders like that are not welcome at this club)

Made a rare visit to Holker St today and (even rarer) sat in the Main Stand. Interesting how Bayliss was a like a (rabid) dog with a bone once he'd thrown Obi on, yelling and gesticulating at him (and pretty much only him) for most of the rest of the game. On that evidence, I can't see both of them being here beyond January.

Obi didn't look fit to me, he seemed to blowing out of his arse after about 5 mins.
Boyes shamed him with his work-rate up front.
Perhaps Bayliss was looking to ship him out for a month to gain some fitness and sharpness because all he showed today in his brief cameo was a few dives of varying success.
