Intelligent rotation system should keep the majority of the squad happy enough and all fighting for more game time than their competitor for that place, Agree the crowd will be down a bit but still healthy enough, Any win will do for me but want to spank some side soon enough.

If...its always the if's, but if we keep on getting the results and Chorley do likewise we could see a massive gate on the B-H-Monday as they could bring 250 & our crowd could be around 17/1800+ by then results permitting as everyone's on holiday, Gate of 19/2000 could be on the cards.

Edmo implied in his interview that most of the squad would need to be in action over the Bank Holiday weekend double-header.

Would love to see a big win but let's not get carried away. Would happily settle for any win but with us looking less troubled in defence than the first 2 games when I think we have still gone to sleep at times and we all know what Louis Almond is capable of. Still think we will win but going for a cautious 2-1. A clean sheet would be nice though. Think the gate may be down a little as people still have things going on on Saturdays from the Summer so 1250. Result tomorrow and similar at Harrogate then we could be on for a massive gate vs Chorley.

Why is everyone predicting a low attendance? I know its only Hyde but its a chance to see barrow spank them. Im going 6-1 att. 1734

Local football leagues playing, premiership starting may be a couple of reasons

In years gone by we could get 1600-1700 on a Tuesday night after the ship yard workers came off shift, the following Saturday would only get about 1300. As boylieghladbach points out, not as many distractions on a Tuesday night, and there are a lot more things competing for your time and/or money these days. Even now we are still better supported on a Tuesday from time to time (no TV football clashing, etc.).

Not sure how well supported Hyde are these days but after relegation and two straight defeats in the new season I won't hold your breath for them to make up the difference on Saturday, although pain and suffering is often a football fans lot. You never know though, the Casson effect and word of that Pilkington wonder free kick might give us a very similar gate.

There is already talking on the Hyde forum about sacking the manager. They have had a disastrous pre-season winning only there first fixture 8-2 away against Prestatyn. They have drawn 3 times and lost the other 5 pre-season games the last 2 against Droylsden and FC United. Beaten twice so far this season without reply at home by 10 man Oxford (0-1) and on Tuesday at N.Ferriby (3-0). You would think a cricket score result would be very possible on Saturday but we are leaking goals. So Hyde will probably score (its the Barrow way), but it looks like a Barrow win on paper unless Hyde pull a rabbit out of the hat, a rabbit with a good right foot.

Been a Long Long time since The Yard shut down on August Bank Holiday my friend,

That's one reason why it's a 6:30 kick off (the other being some poncy [SwearFilter] riding their nags around some rich [SwearFilter]'s fields)
