Great to see some progress.. very sad to see the lights finally coming down. To me and perhaps others, walking up Holker St and seeing the lights and getting the football buzz as a kid..match day was just minutes away! I loved the old lights, the look, the retro feel I guess like all grounds once had.. even my old subuteo set!!
Maybe it's the start of something great, the first piece of the hs jigsaw?
Credit to the club and owner for acting on it and sticking hand in pocket to ensure we have a future.

Maybe the buzz would come back walking up holker st and seeing a nice roof jutting out on the holker end?

Excluding this wish list, mine and a few others, in line with the nice housing and general update to the area(top of holker st), is there not some re generation grant we can tap into to upgrade the exterior appearance to that area of the outside of the ground.....not mentioning the word feasability!!!

There is one floodlight tower at the Steelworks End which is relatively new, is that coming down? Anyone know?

Would probably be worth the club updating the fans when the info comes in rather than waiting for the evening mail to ask questions. No use doing things on social media/the official site for a short term period just because its been pointed out that it has been quiet recently.

Think it has already been said that it would remain as it is a phone mast but lights would be on a new mast.

From the Special Floodlight Souvenir programme against Dunfermline:- "Each tower is 94 feet high and is set on a concrete base 12 feet underground".

94ft translates to 28.65 metres.
