What did you expect him to do ? A WWE style launch from the director box at the people shouting at him ?
Id have expected a "club update" on the main site immediately.

I've got you on block Arron so I can only see your poison when someone else quotes it. If the Casson's do walk YOU will have done more than anyone to bring it about.

We are in an on-the-field crisis due to Paul Cox walking out on us; this sort of thing has happened to us before and it will pass. We are not in any financial crisis; this sort of thing has happened to us before and threatens the very existence of the club.
In my opinion we have all got to maintain the big picture and not jeopardise the club's progress by picking unwarranted fights with the owners. We might not be up there with Fleetwood and Morecambe; but then neither are we down there with York and Stockport.
Would the four protestors at Saturday's game like to be the ones responsible for the Cassons pulling out and Barrow AFC immediately folding? We are on thin ice.
If the bloke would pull out because he's had some criticism then I'd rather him not be here. They might own the club but doesn't mean you're not entitled to an opinion or able to vent your frustrations. After all the shit that's gone on the last few months I think it's totally justifiable tbh.

Could you just tell me "all the shit" that is actual factually true please, and warrants personal abuse to Andrew Casson.

Now more than ever is the perfect time to sit the fans down and speak to them!
Don't think half the people on here would be bothered if we got some of the truth!

Why does anybody think it is acceptable to shout and swear at somebody? What did they expect to get out of it surely a constructive meeting would be the choice for any rational human being.
If someone walked in to my place of work and was shouting and abusive which could be seen as threatening the police would be called.
People need to start showing some respect.

All the lies about replacing managers/players with equal or better quality then what we had.
Cox going because 7th wasn't good enough and then being replaced by an inferior manager on the cheap
Lack of any real investment into the squad (see first point)
No real statement from any senior official at the club trying to clarify anything
And that's just to name a few...
These fans pay very good money and dedicate a lot of time into following the club and are perfectly entitled to ask questions of the board.

Do any of you know how much it cost to run a club in this league or any? Does 1200 per home game cover that cost? does it hell... The bloke has paid his own money for the good of the club, the town and the thanks they get is all the conspiracy [SwearFilter]..
FFS.. wake up people! Its a business whether you like it or not and they have to make an income by selling players, revenue from shop and gates.. it doesn't add up and by people slagging and talking people out of going is utter shite

Why exactly is a club update needed? is it because a few fans have spat their dummy out and don't like the way the club is being run?

It would cost a lot less if things had been put in place years ago to create some new revenue streams. Just saying like.......

I just want Paul and Andrew to stop saying things like 'we'll get a better manager than Paul Cox" and "7th wasn't good enough" when it is clear we are going down a more fiscally responsible route and haven't got the finance to buy a promotion charge. This is not 'a top quality squad' either.
The three Pauls sat at the fans meeting this summer and basically said we needed 22, less loanees, good quality and a coherent strategy. Paul Cox is gone and Paul Ogden went and came back. Paul Casson has said little. Behind them was Austin Straker who has now gone too, as has Sean Riley who we got in to stop a worrying level of injuries that occurred under Edmo. Instead we had Yussuf played unfit, Diarra kept on the park when he'd done his hamstring to try and buy a point to advance a case for a job.
We have claim and counter claim (on both sides) being leaked to willing participants, one which clearly is this narrative that it was all Paul Cox's fault. I think he has played his part in this but are you seriously, seriously telling me that all the blame lies at his door? Behave. The sheer mess of this shows the organisation isn't being run right, taht's not personal, that's an unavoidable conclusion.
In place we have kept Mickey Moore on, despite a patchy at best 'trial period' where it was very clear we didn't follow up and other enquiries. Nothing against MM but the contract having to be paid up a la Edmo was clearly a factor. Work with what we have and get behind the side, fine of course but please don't insult intelligence by describing it as a strategy that has some link to playing style!
