The moment these 15 or so young people were gathered at the segregation fence trying to annoy the Wrexham fans the stewards should have moved them away. Simple. Most them were recognisable to me as they have done this many times

I don't go that often so can't comment on our idiots but I did witness a bottle thrown from a Wrexham supporter over the barriers in to the barrow end.

Instead of dishing out bans and getting police records these kids need educating on how to behave themselves and steered away from trouble before it follows them into adulthood. A police record at such a young age may mess up their chances of getting jobs, travelling etc. What a big price to pay for a moment of bravado with your mates. As others have said, I really don't think the tweet by Barrow Police to "come and get your flag" helps things either? Maybe the club / police / schools can work together to develop some sort of education programme to steer youngsters away from this kind of behaviour at the football.
We need young fan groups supporting the team in numbers in the right way- passionate and loud In supporting the team, not goading away fans across the terrace in an attempt to get a reaction.

Agree with this, educating what is acceptable banter and what isn't

Agree with these last few posts, Educate them & steer them in the right direction, Yes it’s in very bad taste to mock the young lads death from a few yrs back & stupid to write that on the flag etc but the mass hysteria on FB is OTT
Many of us myself included have done daft things in drink & while young & dumb but let’s not crucify all the younger fans for the action of a few.

Educate them? As if that's going to make a difference. They have done this constantly. The club don't need this. Just get rid of them, simple.

There's plenty of teenagers who go to the football and don't act like tits - nobody's branding them. You're clearly mates with some of these lot, so you must know that they have no intention to watch a football match. It's the only place they can enjoy a bit of a conflict without getting their arses handed to them by bigger boys.
