I was only 8 years old when I attended the game so memories of it are somewhat hazy.

Tch, beginners stuff. Look at one of the ads in the programme. "Half time? Time for half a chicken. Loynes Barbecue"

Sadly, you had to go up Dalton Road to get it.

I don't think anyone would have made a fuss about pies, or the lack of. In those days people were capable of actually going a whole afternoon without needing to eat.

I've never understood the 'Need' to eat at a football stadium? The game only lasts for 90 mins.
