Doom and gloom isn't the issue .It's the number of people who have been removed , shunted out or left ...that's interesting, lots of clubs operating at our level rely on continuity, experience, and people the fans and community can relate to.We seem somehow from within to be able to either remove,alienate peop!e all the time. No experience, knowledge is ever built up, relationships with fans and local businesses can't flourish under this kind of merrygo round . Somebody somewhere must be responsible the hiring and firing of these people

Wonder if it would appeal to Adam, who I think would make a great job of it. Trouble is the 'hire 'em - fire 'em' mentality, which certainly wouldn't appeal to me.

I would when the club will tell us he has left the other day we were told communication was getting better you are have a laugh and this time last year we had 6 full-time employees working behind the scenes now with him.going we are down to 3 conference North teams are on better than us

Probably got a better offer nearer to home. Less travelling and all that. Fuel cost are spiralling these days.

Running a club with very few staff is a recipe for disaster long term especially. Our structure at the club isn't as good as clubs in national North.

Good staff pay for themselves long term. This little old barrow non league mentality will be our downfall.

Again not sure if the guy did a good job or not, nothing to compare it to.

I think Adam would have been a good choice for the job in the first place combined with his radio Cumbria stuff but who in their right mind would want to work for this lot .. not much security is there.

I appreciate the owners have spent lots of money, but they have wasted lots handing out big contracts to players we don't want after a few months, Dunn, Jolly and Cooper all given 3 years contracts and no doubt payouts.

Get the structure right, get the ground sorted, get established and move towards sustainability but you can't do it with enthusiastic amateurs

You could not combine the role of Media manager/press officer and Radio Cumbria commentator.

What concerns me is that a number of these type roles in the past haven't been backfilled when people have left for their varying reasons, makes you wonder if the club is planning on doing so.

Agree 100% with Bingo but it’s all about budgets, even with the best will in the world our very limited resources can only do so much. IMHO I guess without additional investment or the owners taking bigger financial risks then this is all we can expect. Until this happens we will be run by a few staff and an over reliability on volunteers and therefore will always struggle to shake off our non league tag.

It would be fantastic if we had a 5 year plan or something to give supporters and the club a goal to enable us to shake off this non league mentality. A plan will act as an enabler to ensure we can all get behind the club and have a clear timescale to achieve our objectives, it’s the hope that kills us.
