I agree Nige. The pitch conditions currently act as a bit of a leveller. This would've been a disadvantage last season but not so against Tranmere or Exeter both decent footballing sides themselves. Think its all about attitude for the next couple of games. As with Cheltenham if your attitude is good and the oppositions isn't then you can get results against just about anybody in this Division.

I don't think you'll see a difference yet. Most likely will be the Scunthorpe game it might pick up by.

It's not one of them energy savers is it? Turn it on on Monday and it might be fully lit by Friday night
But yeah, the goalmouth at the HS end needed something desperately. It was alarming how the ball didn't bounce on that sand against cheltenham and Josh Lillis nearly had a moment with it against Wimbledon. Well done the club for doing something.

IF he's fit in theory he could come in for the suspended (?) Beadling - but he's not a defensive midfielder - so Jason Taylor or even James Jones could play in that role. It's more likely Hardcastle would go onto the bench rather than into the team if he's returning.
