Re: Barrow v Crewe Alexandra Match thread
They play some nice stuff Crewe but we look very dangerous as soon as we get under way. Think there’s more goals in this one.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

I don't know what went on during that 4 defeats spell but ever since Wild's "I'm not listening to noises off any more, we're playing the Pete Wild way..." we've been a different team, back to how we started the season.
Don't let the old man in.

Great half. Soaked up and stifled everything Crewe had to offer. Second goal was needed but looking very very good.

I think over a whole season those results wouldn’t seem so bad, perhaps even expected (Rochdale aside) but in a row looked awful. Looking back to our best recently, today especially.MisterPleasant wrote: ↑Sat Oct 29, 2022 3:53 pm I don't know what went on during that 4 defeats spell but ever since Wild's "I'm not listening to noises off any more, we're playing the Pete Wild way..." we've been a different team, back to how we started the season.

Goody and Adam are saying they play like us last season some good possession but lots of sideways balls and no cutting edge.

Sub: Lillis for Farman (who has become a father)
Don't let the old man in.
Re: Barrow v Crewe Alexandra Match thread
Paul Farman’s wife into labour
so Lillis is hopefully the daddy in goals for us second half.

Early chances in 2nd half for Crewe. We need to concentrate and not let them back into the game
Re: Barrow v Crewe Alexandra Match thread
Kenlock and Foley on for Brough and Neal
Re: Barrow v Crewe Alexandra Match thread
Baker- Richardson on for Crewe Alex
Re: Barrow v Crewe Alexandra Match thread
Josh Gordon makes it three

Brilliant third goal. High pressing from Josh, robbing his man and slotting home.
