A Happy New Year to all Bluebird supporters everywhere. I think we can slay the dragons today as we do have a George in our team.

George (Ray) slays the dragon ?
Re: Wrexham
It's a glorious day over here in the north east, but I believe wind and rain is forecast for welsh wales. I hope the players remember how badly they adapted to the wind in the first half last Friday. Long kicks from Farman don't work (unless he was trying to score, of course).
Re: Wrexham
Never mind George. For me the perfection would be victory via a goal from his defensive partner which would provide the headline 'Wrexham slain by Chester' . Obviously you'd need to be historically and geographically intelligent to appreciate that .

Re: Wrexham
1-0 win via a dodgy own goal would do it for me!

Dry in North Wales , Jim, with a gentle breeze. Almost perfect conditions.Jim wrote: ↑Mon Jan 01, 2024 10:47 am It's a glorious day over here in the north east, but I believe wind and rain is forecast for welsh wales. Re: Wrexham
For that to have happened against Accrington, their keeper would have had to Turn to Stone, or at the very least go wandering off onto the Rocky Mountain Way.
(Thankfully for you lot, I don't know the titles of any more Joe Walsh songs)

'Life's been good', Farman might have been heard to say had he scored.
Don't let the old man in.

Re: Wrexham
Farman has a great kick. Sometimes I wonder if the ball might leave the stadium and end up in nearby 'Meadows'
