There will be an obvious logic to it all we just have to wait and see what that logic is. Looks like our club Captain

iirc, at the last qna , the new sky deal includes games being shown in the states as a partnership, I guess with the Wrexham affect, people might tune into games, with the hope that the “visit Labrador/new found land” might get attention. As someone else posted, let’s just take the money, who knows, might help with the development of the popular side, expanding the land at the back which is used as a car park and goes way back to the Asda waterhole, “the new found land stand” : P

From what I gather it's not worth loads of money and we turned down more from elsewhere but we'll benefit in many other ways.

Just a heads up. I have 14 of my US relatives attending the Real Union friendly on the 27th July. If any transatlantic accents are heard it is nothing to do with take overs or sponsorships.

Newfoundland is crying out for skilled labour to move there. They’ll be using us as a vehicle to advertise that. I don’t think they’ll be particularly fussed about Barrow AFC per se, we’re just a foothold into a market that gets a large amount of global attention - English football.
That’s my guess, anyhow.
