They don't give a toss about L2 or even L1 with the exception of Wrexham (because all broadcasters think all football fans love an "underdog" story that revolves around a bunch of millionaires throwing money at club - see also Salford). All the L1 and L2 games they show, along with the EFL Trophy and most games in the first two rounds of the EFL Cup are just there to boost their "we show XXX number of games per season" boast while paying the clubs a pittance that doesn't make up for the money lost through the turnstile or anything else, not to mention that more kids start off going to Saturday games than midweek ones. More games at stupid o'clock means kids are less likely to be taken to their first game and people are less likely to buy season tickets.

Are the actually going to show it this time on Sky Sports Football or are they making us change our date and then drop the match at the 11th hour like the did on Wednesday leaving us out of pocket?

Will effect the attendance and income for Crossbar and Fanzone getting pis*ed off with Sky now, but if Barrow and the rest of the EFL voted it in nothing the fans can do about it, hopefully next season both games will be on the original date and time.

It may affect the hospitality take up but will it really affect the attendance that much?

We had just shy of 3k home fans for the midweek game v Doncaster so if we cant draw a 4k+ crowd for the biggest home fixture of the season then when can we? Carlisle will sell out regardless.

Another small positive, it might draw some mid week contractors working in the yard to come, still a shit decision though. As per a previous comment, maybe the police did have a say as well.
