Probably more to do with incidents during a game last season when only 1200 attended details in link below

We’re classier than that 😉
Trouble always seems to follow Robbie Savage around. I wonder why that is?

Seen as every away game we play in the EFL is all ticket and segregated ( no pay on the gate) I take it you wont be attending any away games next season ;)
Ha, I usually agree with your posts Main Stand but I’m afraid not on this occasion. Surely one of the appeals of pre-season games is, it’s a more relaxed atmosphere, no prematch planning has to be done. You just rock up at the ground five minutes before kick off and if more of your mates want to come, they can just decide at the last minute and pop along as will be the case at the Holker OB game.

That was the case when we were a non league club but being a league team and given the issues at Lancaster in a game last season it's a sensible call and no surprise IMO. If a group of Lancaster fans decided to cause issues the cries would be it should have been segregated and made alll ticket Its the same for both sets of fans too. Better to close the stable door before the horse bolts. There is simply no comparison to that and the Holker OB game.

What is there to stop you from watching the game from the side of the station ?

I agree with some of the posts on here. Pre season games are usually chilled out affairs in the sun, stand wherever you like and enjoy the match. We have enough all ticket, segregation games for the rest of the season. I'm giving this one a miss now.

Apparently, young uns of both clubs winding each other up on social media sites. Police may have heard about this...
It's a Pre-Season Friendly FFs! Who's interested?

Absolutely nothing to do with that. They are in the process of being charged for the incidents at their game against Macclesfield last season so they wanted to show they’ve learnt their lesson and can deal with a “big” away following etc

I used to like just rocking up after work for this friendly. It was always a chilled out atmosphere. All ticket and segregated I can’t see me bothering this time.

Lancaster’s STATEMENT says that soft segregation will be in place and folk can come and go as they please.

What a load of nonsense.
