We are luckily blessed to have a board who are also Barrow football fans, you do wonder what their appetite is for a new non league excursion with the grief and cost that goes with it.

Understand the comment, but if it was me, I’d be wanting to put my mistakes right, rather than calling it quits.

If anything, I’d be even more fired up. Hopefully our board will be the same.

Different recruitment strategy. Bring in a proper football man, with experience, who knows what it takes and what we need.

Broken record time, but whoever was involved, in recruitment, this season, should NOT be involved in recruitment next season.

This is a very dark thought - and not something to boast about - but I'll be there tomorrow as I was in '72 when we went out, and I wonder how many will "do the double" by turning up tomorrow, as they did 54 years ago? We will never know but I'll hazard a guess at 30 suffering souls, tops.

I lost my eye sight after a massive brain bleed in October and I could barely see the football on the TV and in some respects I'm glad but in other ways I'm absolutely gutted too. (It's recovered a bit)

I'm just about back on my feet and grateful for sure but this season has left a sour taste..

Football is kicking bag of wind.. it's not life or death however, our club, like any other means a lot to us supporters and when they play like they have and look like they don't give a shit is pretty disappointing.

Sometimes us, as supporters don't have a lot to e happy about especially going through what I've been through as well as many others and when we, as supporters cling in to things like the football it really does hurt to see what we have all seen this season.

I just wish sometimes players could see, accept and understand what our club means to us!

Just go out tomorrow and try, that's all we ask.. we don't deserve to stay up and I've accepted that but at least give us something for us all to be happy about.. if results go our way then great.. but just think please.. when you get paid to represent a club, just remember that ordinary people pay and follow you.. let that sink in.

There also for last home game Brentford 0-3 April 24th 1972 age 14(not last game at Exeter), will be there tomorrow age 68, and next Season. Its our Club and always will be.

Sorry, but this season has really made me think how we are ever going to be anything but a non-league club. Difficult with recruitment because of our location, I don't think being in L2 for 6 seasons has done us any good at all.
I'll repeat what I posted on a different thread, the board should announce they have a 10 year plan, create an academy or youth team set up, with as many local players as possible, grow in non-league before having another crack at L2.

Wasn’t going to rush back from work but changed my mind. This could be the last time I see them in the football league, hopefully not but it’s not easy getting back up, and I’m not deluded enough to think it is. Whether I go five minutes before the end because I’m a sad sac and emotions may take over I don’t know I’ll play it by ear. However, it will be annoying if the team turn up today when they haven’t for most of the season.

Many changes needed and plans to be made for the future which I hope will be revealed quickly

This morning it feels like I’m getting ready to go to a funeral for a dear old friend who was alive and kicking not long ago , and who provided joy and sorrow in equal measure and now, after a sudden and unexpected demise, has gone far too quickly and too soon. I feel annoyed about that because if only he/ she had taken a little more care and heeded the warning signs, she / he would still be with us , alive and kicking and living their best life, and still sharing that joy and pain.

As the dark clouds gather, and rain pours down, we can only hope for resurrection in the National League.

Am I the only one who thinks we'll win 4-0 and Crawley will lose 4-0 then Harrogate will score in the 95th minute and it'll all be nothing?
Tbh I'll be even more gutted if we actually win and go down on goal difference because of a dozen results where we've chucked away points esp Chesterfield and Harrogate at home so that one silly mistake could have kept us up
