It isn’t just the case of funding

There is the logistics behind it as well - you are going to have to have machinery on the pitch itself so needs to be done around a time where you won’t have any impact on home fixtures. The money would never have been a problem with the grants promised - it’s making sure it’s done at the best possible time as to not affect anything else

But in the meantime the risk remains
Needs to be done asap imo even if it’s temporary to minimise the risk before a permanent solution
I know clubs were not told officially until late in the day but it will have been naive of any club not to expect this after last seasons tragedy of Billy Vigar

This is all four side of the ground right? Not just behind the goals. If that's the case the whole structure of the pitchside perimeter is breeze block and concrete. That is more than weekend job, whole sections of the ground may need to be out of use whilst this is done.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

It will probably be done at the end of the season.
The link below is worth reading and watching. It’s a very sobering article The FA have dragged their feet on this issue since a Coroner wrote to the FA in 2015. Quite shocking

What do you suggest as a "temporary" solution? And who would pay for it?
Clubs might have expected it coming but until the offer of grant support was actually there where would the money have come from?
Don't let the old man in.

The FA should use experts to devise a solution Christ after watching the video of Billy Vigars parents and reading the article the FA are guilty of a dereliction of duty after receiving a coroners report in 2015 and basically sitting on it without acting

Hopefully Clubs will be given time to complete all work required in a reasonable time and not sanction them with ground closures if time limits are missed. Hopefully all costs are covered by the FA/Premier.
