Bit odd he would leave Burton if he was doing such a good job.

Are you intimating that there more to it than meets the eye?

If so good cos we haven't had a conspiracy theory for about two hours. :?

:scarf: Moore needs a hand so he's gone for someone he respects. Must be a positive. Let's hope he injects a win tomorrow. We are due some luck so

Seems to have been fairly straightforward:

Well we will need as much luck as we can get if we are win tomorrow. I'd put my house on us not winning tomorrow.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.

If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

A first team coach for a championship side (who had an meteoric rise) to an assistant manager job in the Conference. I would say that is a normal thing to happen in football, would not have been surprised to see a jump to manager at this level or below or even an assistant a bit higher than our position. Never heard of him so can't comment on personality or exactly how influential he was at Burton but when you stay in the same position (or get promoted) under 2 different high profile managers he must have something about him.

Experience has to be got and he has a lot of experience in a wide range of areas that are definitely relevant to an assistants position so I am definitley in the 'Let's give him a chance to prove himself' camp.

Speak to Paul Casson he is more than happy to say what was going on prior to Paul Cox's departure.
Why doesn’t he make it public then in one of his famous statements!
Like I said ask him you might be surprised

Coaching staff come and go when a new manager is appointed, it isn't necessarily a reflection of their ability it's just a new manager can quite often like to surround themselves with people that they are familiar with, it would be interesting to see if any Burton fans have anything to say about Hornby.

Surely if this is a long term apppintment and the club back MM long term then they would have disclosed the length of contract. Strange appointment/announcement
