He appoints clemance for this free attacking football we are seeing  and the poor quality of signings this summer so far and we are going backwards. We’ve just given him the rest of the club too haven’t we, interesting
Ian wood obviously talks a good job .
Clemence and him both need to go.
How happy must Gillingham be that their decision to get rid of him has been the right choice.
Gillingham are only one point better off than us though? Albeit with a game in hand.

Telford was player of the season, top scorer and EFL team of the year not long ago. Thought he was a great signing yet I’m sure he’d say himself he’s struggled to get any goal scoring form here. For whatever reason some signings don’t always work. Another we had was Danny Rowe a few seasons back, didn’t pull up any trees here, went to Fylde and broke scoring records. The only two we’ve had that have consistently found the net for us and then whichever club they have home onto is Andy Cook and Scott Quigley. Both of whom are exactly the sort of player we need right now in this formation.

And we haven't so surely the logical thing to do is change formation!

Who are your two up front- don’t think Gardner / Aquah will be available for selection for some time. So where does that leave options from the bench.

Tough one but here's my team for Saturday if these players are ft !
Farman/ Stanway

Eccleston feely canavan Vassell Jackson

Campbell Foley

Spence

Dallas/ Gardner. Newby

Not ideal but we need to stabilise things and be boring for a while, we have to grind out results if Clemence and the board don't realise this we'll sooner right down near the bottom NOBODY wants that scenario!

This is what I posted before!

Should have done this after the Colchester game that was our 100th home league game since returning to the EFL, our record is P100 W39 D31 L30 so many sides say it's a difficult place to travel and play in difficult conditions plenty of them have left with something to take home.

To be fair we had a manager for most of one season who often said it was difficult conditions for the home side to play in.

Never play to the conditions never have.

Some of our players would thrive in other teams but they never in ours.

A place on the board and more responsibilities for the director of football. I have no idea what he knows about football or not.

Anyway it's only a game in the grand scale of things. We will all be dead or almost dead in 50 years time.

When Stanway came into the team he soon acclimatised after a shandy start..
What he lacked in experience he made up with effort.
Bit radical but if Farman. Is fit why not put Stanway upfront?
Could upset the opposition just being there and harassing them.
Bobby Knox style.

If we stay up we need to foster relationships with some of the local clubs who may have decent players we could nurture under dual registration.

Great shout that Pedro; Vassell as well, he scores goals. Be very disappointed if Stanway and Vassell aren’t the front two at Chesterfield

Can't agree with that sorry, Stanways' career goals tally is poor even compared to our shot-shy shirkers.

If we stay up ha ha. A bad run and it's the end of Barrow football a good run and the manager is going to leave and the players sold. Does anyone never just enjoy it

I think some of the players look as if they have needed more than a shandy. ;)

Given their relentless negativity, I am surprised none of our doomsters has blamed the cakes yet.

I remember a similar bad run the year we got voted out.
No doubt you thought the Titanic was safe 😆
