The goal yesterday was totally avoidable if the nearest man stops the cross. Absolutely no use at all in standing 2 yards off the man with the ball and letting him get a cross over. See it all the time, that’s not formation. Look at the highlights. It also happened just before the goal again down that rhs. Get tighter in on your man and stop the cross!!
Sadly as you say it happens all the time Jonty.
Many times I've seen our man running backwards in front of their player as he advances towards goal or to a better place to be able to pass to an unmarked colleague. There's no challenge - they just let them advance.

Infuriating, where’s the challenges?. Two on him, nearest man gets into him, if he pushes it beyond him, second man picks it up. If he gets through this and gets the ball in, he’s done well, but ffs stop looking at his feet, at least attempt to stop the cross!! Is this how defenders are coached these days?

Interesting read. More from Fleetwood arrested than Barrow. Won’t impress those that “ claim” Barrow police are more heavy handed with home fans than away fans

Those responsible for the flares should get a 10 year ban from all football grounds.
