Nice one lads, appreciated. I'll have a look at it next time I'm down see what sort of state it's in but it looked much better after you'd given it some TLC!

Further, I'd like to see a similar banner featuring Chaz n Dave up there next to Sir Ray on permanent display. The chapter has finally closed on their association with the club and with no disrespect meant to the memory of Sir Ray, their achievements by far outshine that of the great man - regardless of the personalities and off field events. Fairs fair - lets have a permanent reminder of the most sucessful Mangers in our non league history. I'm good for a tenner - but who does the banners Ste? Aberdeen? Van Der Nipper? Please advise.

The toilet floor in the directors area under the stand has been painted, Exile was busy in the changing room painting the board around the sink unit, our manager (her ladyship) was happily cleaning the changing rooms and corridor, Exile was picking litter in the stand. Les washing the kit ( a job that has to be done but no thanks from anyone) Gareth and his mate working wonders on the pitch. and all before lunch. another good days work.

Just seen a few before and after pics of the changing rooms. I never realised how much had actually been done! Looks 100 times better.
Massive credit to everyone that's done this!

Sunday morning on this week for interested parties (Tomahawk kid)
We weren't going to bother this week as we've been baging in some hours lately but the Evening Mail rang me today & want to do a follow up to their last article, which will include pictures of various projects that we've completed & have coming up or started.
Be nice to have a good turn-out.
9:00am start or just turn up when you can.

Wintergreen, where's your GMA write-up on the morning's event's? You did promise
Gareth & Craig (think that's his name) were tootling up & down the pitch on the mower mobile sprinkling the stuff that bring thousands of worms to the surface, got something about worms them two.
Whitty (64 version) was measuring up in the press box for various materials that we're going to need to make a start in there which will be a good winter project.
Whitty (69 vintage) trashed someone's attempts at being an electrician. He disconnected all the wiring to the new shop on the pop side because after carefully looking into where the various leads went & weighing up the situation he gave us his professional opinion of "this'll kill some [SwearFilter]"
Les was washing all the kits & trying his best to get them dry.
Russ was making brews, sprinkling the shake n vac & hoovering in the BDF shop (make someone a lovely wife will that bloke) & telling Whitty 64 where he wanted his new sink plumbing in.
Ian (red van joiner) despite having an op on his shoulder the other week was down there offering his services. Being mindfull of his temporary ailment we put him on screw & nail sorting duties in the GMA
John Mackay was doing his best to tidy & clean the home changing room as Elaine was otherwise engaged today, did a good job but he'll never threaten the position of the unofficial cleaner.
Mike Forsyth & Peter Nichols spotted some very dodgy guttering on the pop side so off they went with a big pair of ladders & some specialised tools to remove it, there was a hammer and........err, thats it!
Good job done though as it's something no one had noticed but was looking very unsafe.
Wintergreen & Exile went on a litter picking mission around the ground plus emptying all the bins that were nearly full.
Steve Ahern carried on with the seemingly endless task of pinning the cladding that keeps coming loose after a ball hits it & pulls out the edge which can be pretty dangerous.
I had the very easy job of showing the Evening Mail photographer around so he could get the shots of the various jobs that have been completed over the last year, not sure when the write-up will be going in but if Steve Shaw let's me know, I'll mention it on here.
Fantastic turn-out today, really impressive (I make it fourteen!!)
