Pilks red card was maybe reckless but the Referee DID NOT take the same action against the Fylde player late on when he DID double foot his tackle and from behind. Mind you we don't argue Fylde would argue all day just to give them an edge. ground is a disgrace anyway
Standard response, refs fault then? What's their ground got to do with anything? It's a decent set up for where the club has come from, we could learn a few things from them.

Its weird. Weve been around over a century and theyve been around since 2007.

They look far better prepared for the future.

Smart new ground, young squad, decent hungry manager.

Steeley wrote:Easy to say now but we shouldnt have had Mellor and Cowps starting, both fairly defensive minded players from what ive seen, we should have taken the game to them in the first 10 minutes. I dont remember us having a clear chance, even after watching the highlights.
And as already said Mellor 2 stone overweight and very slow . Full time not doing him any favours

It most probably depends on tonughts Guiseley v Halifax game. If Guiseley get knocked out im guessijg that game will be brought forward to the Saturday instead of the Tuesday after Dover away.

Like most others on here I like Elliot Newby. The problem I have is that the manager was given enough money to sign "very good players " to enable us to progress in this league, and hopefully stake a claim for the play offs.He has signed mostly rubbish I would'nt put in my wheely bin. Therefor allowing said Newby to progress nice and gentle from the bench. We now have fans scrambling for him to start every week. For me, that Say's it all about how things are at the minute.......... Crap. Some are putting their faith in resurrecting the season by hoping a young kid can bail us out. That is really sad. That must mean our manager has to go.

Not aimed at you Steve, but a lot of fans seem to want the young lad to start every week now. That will not solve our problems.
