We have 3 games left in order to get the one point we realistically need in order to ensure our survival . The big problem we can change is the style of play we have adopted for long periods of the last 3 games. We sit back and try to absorb the pressure in order to gain a point ...but where this falls down is how we go about it . The ball comes into our half and , if we win it ...it is punted aimlessly upfield . The outcome is that we create nothing going forward , and it allows the opposition to mount yet another wave of attacks . It seems that we stick to this approach ...until it fails ...as it is likely to do since it only takes one bit of skill , or luck , on the part of the opposition in order to undo that approach . It creates almost relentless pressure on our defenders. We have seen that when we try to retain possession and to work the ball upfield into the opposition's half until we can create a chance to shoot , we look much better ( as we did for large parts of last season ) but we only seem to do this after conceding . Come on Barrow ...the 'lump it forward hopefully' approach has failed ever since the Exeter game ...Try a more possession based approach ...it might just work .

Remember near the start of the season, how Dunn was saying its a big step up from non league, but judging by the quality of play in this game and previous games, it’s been either hoof ball or header volley. We’ve been nowhere near the Barrowcelona of old, even if we do stay up, they need to get back to being a decent passing team, or we’ll flop next season and the crowds won’t be as high as expected. Missing that spark in midfield, Jamie Devitt seems to be the only one who’s come near after Mike Jones got injured

Yes today was bad
Yes the unthinkable happened and Southend and Grimsby both won
But come on - people need to keep their heads
I would much rather be in our position (potentially needing one point to secure league status)
Than be in Grimsby and Southend’s (needing to win every game)

I'm sure everyone in here thinks we'll 'probably' stay up - the anger comes from the fact that there shouldn't even be any doubt. These last three performances have been among the worst we've seen all season, so surely you can see why people are annoyed?

We look like we have lost our heads and desperation has set in - not a good look for a team on a knife edge yet capable of beating the best on their day. I think Jason Taylor could provide a necessary bit of composure and spirit - regardless of how many 'minutes' he has had.

You have to have a manager brave enough to play proper football. It means taking risks. Like the players, most managers in this league aren't very good which is why they aren't managing teams at a higher level. Occasionally, you get one who is good and is destined for better things, like Evatt. However, sticking to his policy of playing football could have easily cost him his job at Bolton but he refused to compromise when many supporters were crying for his head and he's now produced a team who play in the same way as we did last season. Sadly most of the managers in this league won't take any risks and rely on the Paul Cox type of management! Agree with your comment re Devitt. Only he and Banks of our midfield have the ability to pass the ball accurately over more than about 5 yards. Neither are in the same league as the players we had last season as Devitt fades out of the game and Banks isn't the quickest or most mobile but, at least, they have some creative ability.

Seems to spend more time on the treatment table than on the pitch. Agreed talented but we need a more reliable player fitness wise.

I think it's more to do with a lack of confidence in our other midfield players!

Can't believe the number of times our players just stood back and watched players go past them without making any attempt to tackle them. It was as if they had been told 'this is your area of the pitch - don't stray out of it'

Port vale , Leyton orient and tranmere all clueless negative hoof ball tactics.Port vale were good the other 2 were beatable by a team set up to go forward by their manager.Our football has become non existent our composure on the ball even less, if RK doesn’t snap out of the negative mindset we are probably going down.In games this season when we have been offensive and attacked teams we can beat anyone. I fear the worst.
