Re: Crossbar Saturday
Just had word off someone else that they can't make this, so there is one more place going spare. Same as yesterday, first come-first served basis.....PM if interested.
It'd be nice if another younger fan was given the chance if you know of one that might want to attend, yesterdays went to a twelve year old lad.

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

So has it arrived yet? Or was that stamp the FA stuck on the side not enough to cover the postage and there’s a postie banging on the door at Holker Street demanding the extra cash, as I write?spirit of 1990 wrote:Regarding Children being allowed photo opportunities with the FAC… I've asked today whether we can sort something for them but I think we are waiting on the FA letting us know how it will arrive, when it will arrive and if we can then have some time for photos with it and the kids.
No bubblewrap unpopped.

Parcelforce were bringing it; they rang the club doorbell but then disappeared before anyone could answer.
Sounds like a trick we used to play as kids!

Ha ha! Yeah, and then they put a postcard through the door saying you weren't in so we left it in a safe place, but that safe place turns out to be the wheelie bin, only it's on the same day that the bin men come and collect. Wouldn't be the first time something like that happened.Steelworks End wrote:Parcelforce were bringing it; they rang the club doorbell but then disappeared before anyone could answer.

I was still waiting for a reply but give them another nudge when you reminded me.Arvo wrote:So has it arrived yet? Unfortunately there will be very little time available for any photo opportunities.......but, I might be able to get a couple of kids through for a quick photo if an opportunity arises.
Anyone interested PM me a mobile number and we'll see if something can be arranged, that call might be a last minute thing on Saturday morning though.

Well in Van Der Nipper, AB and co. And to Spirt for sorting it. Looked like everyone including Lawro and co enjoyed themselves.
