Not released but Alan Nixon seems to think Joel Dixon would be coming back

Farman got a lot more criticism than he deserved tbh but if we are to play a lot more football (which signing a 5 foot 9 striker implies we will) Dixon is probably better suited to that style of distribution

Dixon a far better all round keeper IMO. Farman has a long kick and a good shot stopper. He doesn’t command his box and very rarely comes for crosses or corners to take pressure off his defence. Dixons distribution improved greatly during his time with us. A good shot stoppper and was never afraid to come for a cross or corner. I would have him back in a heartbeat as No1

Don’t think it will strengthen or make us any worse as don’t think there is much between the two keepers apart from the ability to have a decent reserve keeper , think there’s more important parts of the pitch to strengthen
